Floyd often receives criticism (rightfully or not but he does) for not fighting opponents in their prime.

I don't think that's the case but it's easy to see where they're coming from cause some of Mayweather's biggest name opponents (Cotto, DLH,Pac, Mosley...) really were past prime when he fought them.

I also think that we gotta be fair and mention how Floyd could stay near of his prime form for so many years while others didn't so much.
