And you're saying what breh?:whoa:

Didnt Bracero stop O'Connor in devasting fashion also....and what is Bracero's punching level?:usure:

We dont know if Troynovsky even has a chin....he ain't beat nobody. So using an unknown fighter being KOd doesnt mean much to me, bc we dont know about his chin at all.:manny:

We not talking if he wins or not...we talking about taking punches.

Yes, Prograis would eat the shots from Indongo
.

okay then, yeah maybe

nah... Broner last fought in 147, let's see if he makes 140 and how his Mikey fight ends up
Mikey hasn't fought in 140 just once against a tune up opponent, he ain't a big shot at 140 until the end of the Broner fight and even if he beats Broner he said he moves down to 135 so...
Barthelemy just got gifted a decision against Kiryl Relikh who lost to Ricky Burns so no... I don't think anymore that he's anything close to a 140 top dog.

140 top dogs re Crawford and Indongo right now, maybe Postol too cause he only lost to the clear #1 but he hasn't even fought since so idk...

damn he just like a pbc fighter. dude aint fought in a year.:mjlol:

I'm talking on paper and skill wise. We can debate on the particulars, however I think it would be disingenuous to say that those 5 dudes I named wouldn't be the most skilled a 140 at any point in time. Barthelemy is definitely at the bottom of the list. Postol, I don't even remember the last time he fought? My point is pretty concise though, RP is two-three fights away from throwing hands with the elitely skilled.

Bacskai vs Harcsa Grudge Match Tops Big Card in Hungary

Bacskai vs Harcsa Grudge Match Comes Saturday in Hungary
by Tamas Pradarics

Former amateur European Champion and Junior World Championships gold medalist Balazs Bacskai is having his professional debut on June 10 in Hungary. The sold-out show at the Sporthall in the city of Budakalasz is going to give the fans a historic main event: this will be the first time a boxer is fighting for a Hungarian Title on his first pro night.

Bacskai is taking on fellow experienced amateur and eight-bout pro, Norbert Harcsa. The participants were once teammates. Harcsa (8-0, 1 KOs) won a silver medal at a Junior European Championships alongside with other medals on international competitions before he switched to the paid ranks in late 2015.
Animosity is on between these two middleweight pugilists since their junior days. This is one of the reasons why is this a highly anticipated grudge match in Hungary with unusually impressive media activity surrounding the event.

On the co-feature bout of the evening, hard-hitting 154-pounder Zoltan Kispal (7-1, 5 KOs) faces experienced Laszlo Fazekas (30-27-1-1, 18 KOs) for the vacant super welterweight Hungarian Title.

Reigning WBO European super featherweight belt holder Zoltan Kovacs (19-5-1, 6 KOs) takes on undefeated Dato Nanava (8-0, 3 KOs) in a non-title bout scheduled for eight frames.

Spectators in the arena and viewers in front of television sets are fortunate to experience special appearances of two unbeaten and talented Ukranian fighters on the program.

Former World Championships and 2012 Olympic silver medalist Denys Berinchyk (5-0, 3 KOs) faces veteran former flyweight world champion Lorenzo Parra (32-10-2, 19 KOs) in a scheduled eight-round bout.

Featherweight Oleg Malynovskyi (19-0, 5 KOs) takes on heavy-handed Brazilian journeyman Isaias Santos Sampaio (21-12, 21 KOs) in another eight-rounder.
Other important up-and-comers Balazs Torteli, Jozsef Darmos, Ferenc Berki Jr and Renato Egedi will be in action in separated bouts.

The event is being promoted by leading Hungarian manager/promoter Felix Racz’s Felix Promotion and will be televised by Hungarian Sports Broadcaster M4 Sport as well as by a Ukranian TV station. Tickets were sold out in a heartbeat for this event.

maybe we will have a fighter who isn't just gonna be a cannon fodder for up and coming German and British prospects?

:whew: Everyone's "protect ya self at all times!"

:dwillhuh: All of a sudden it's two random nikkas from the crowd jumping the Breh :gladbron:

shyt was chaos to watch live and in the shop that much more hilarious.

Dan Rafael chat wrap 6/9:

- Khurtsidze may be stripped of the interim and mandatory status. Expect BJS to find another fight later this summer.
- Hurd vs. Trout is a solid fight and supposed to happen later this summer.
- Pretty sure we see Bradley back later this fall.
- Better chance: Cleveland coming back to beat GS or McGregor to beat Mayweather? Cleveland.
- Picking Prograis in a good fight.
- Doesn't follow female boxing that much, but Braekhaus is probably the #1 women's fighter in the world.
- Lara vs. Andrade won't be ordered until the fall. Lara has the option of taking an interim fight if he wants to.
- Unlikely BJS vs. Lemieux will be on GGG vs. Canelo undercard, but it would be a good addition.
- Nothing set for the GGG vs. Canelo undercard, but Orozco could appear.
- Canelo vs. GGG media tour should start later this month. Tickets should go on sale around the same time as well.
- Jose Ramirez is a very good prospect but still unproven. Likely will face better opponents in a fight or two. Thinks 2018 is where he makes his move.
- Not sure Alvarado gets a title fight, but thinks he will get a fight against a notable opponent.
- Scored the first fight for Kovalev, but not sure who to pick to win the rematch.
- Does not agree with the characterization that Duva was the one standing in the way of making Stevenson vs. Kovalev.
- The buzz for Kovalev vs. Ward is terrible. It is dead as a PPV, which is disappointing because it is a very good fight. Neither Kovalev or Ward has gained any traction outside of die hard fans.
- Kovalev vs. Ward as a main event is an A+, the rest of the card is a C-.
- Ward's team says that JDJ contacted them, JDJ says that Ward's team contacted him. He tends to believe JDJ.
- Would have to go over Anselmo Moreno's resume more closer before deciding his vote for the HOF, but right now not likely to vote for him.
- Not sure being focused is enough for Broner to beat Garcia, he needs to throw more punches.
- TR is working on Crawford vs. Indongo. Thinks we may eventually get Crawford vs. Pacquiao.
- Would never want to be a boxing promoter. Couldn't deal with with spending a lot of money on a fighter and risk having them get mad later down the road and dumping him, get arrested in the middle of the night and get a call to bail them out, have them accuse him of stealing money, or having to deal with the crazy people they often surround themselves with.
- Could see Collazo vs. Spence. Collazo is coming off a good win vs. Vazquez and has a decent name. Would be no match for Spence.
- Brook vs. Khan really is the only real major money fight for either guy right now.
- Ranks Holyfield in the lower part of his top 10 greatest HW of all time.
- PBC is dead as a viable entity on network TV as it stands now. They need networks coming to the table to pay money and right now they are not. They will limp along doing weak shows like Figueroa-Guerrero which have no impact. They could do 3-4 primetime Fox shows a year. Showtime might shift a fight or two to CBS. That is a long way from how PBC presented its plan and not a great long term plan. A big problem is the lack of activity of its fighters and they are grumbling.
- Broner vs. Garcia will either be at Barclays or Vegas.
- One of the worst decisions Ring magazine has made is to strip Stevenson of his lineal title. He is the lineal champion.
- Thinks Alvarez is next for Stevenson.
- Nothing on Danny Garcia's next fight.
- Believes Lomachenko vs. Salido 2 happens. If it doesn't happen it isn't that big of a deal. Not a huge fight.
- Crawford vs. Spence at 147 right now? Would favor Spence.
- Expects Gvozdyk will be back later this summer/fall on TR's new TV outlet.
- DiBella is as shocked as anyone about the Khurtsidze mess.
- Fury is still his lineal HW champ, but he has removed him from his top 10 rankings due to inactivity.
- Dramatically disputes some of the numbers ESPN presented in their article of the potential financials of a McGregor-Mayweather fight.
- Had Lewis vs. Mercer 96-94 for Lewis.
- Possibility of a September return for Danny Jacobs.
- Hearing that Cleverly vs. Jack may appear on a McGregor-Mayweather card.
- Stevenson probably has the best left hand in boxing.

such a waste of a good fighter/contender :francis:

pretty much and it shouldn't...the event that i had to go to next weekend that i was going to miss this ppv for originally was postponed and i still dont know if i want to watch this ppv or not..whether i buy or stream it...every fight on the card is 50/50 status that it can be entertaining or not

- PBC is dead as a viable entity on network TV as it stands now. They need networks coming to the table to pay money and right now they are not. i still want to know whose bright idea is it to put ghost vs figueroa as the main event of a tripleheader on FOX :gucci:

- Broner vs. Garcia will either be at Barclays or Vegas.
they really need to branch out to different areas of the country

- One of the worst decisions Ring magazine has made is to strip Stevenson of his lineal title. He is the lineal champion.
pretty much, like it or not

- Believes Lomachenko vs. Salido 2 happens. If it doesn't happen it isn't that big of a deal. Not a huge fight.
its not a big deal for salido...just wants to paid appropriately to do his master boxer thing against lomachenko once again

- Had Lewis vs. Mercer 96-94 for Lewis.

Daniel Jacobs' ring return could come in the co-feature of the Canelo Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin middleweight world championship fight, which will take place on Sept. 16 (HBO PPV) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, according to a source familiar with the talks taking place between Golden Boy Promotions, Alvarez's promoter and the lead promoter of the card, and Al Haymon, Jacobs' adviser. Even though Golden Boy and Haymon had a bitter falling out a few years ago – Golden Boy's $300 million lawsuit against Haymon was dismissed but is under appeal – they have been able to work out fights recently. They did a deal for Alvarez to fight Amir Khan in May 2016 and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on May 6, and now may do one to have Jacobs (32-2, 29 KOs) featured on the card. The fight would be Jacobs' first since March 18, when the former secondary middleweight titleholder gave GGG his toughest fight in a hard-fought decision loss for the unified title. Jacobs' opponent on the card, should a deal be finalized, has not been determined, the source said.
