Arthur Abraham vs. Chris Eubank Jr. in Play For July 15 or July 22
By Per Ake Persson
German tabloid BILD writes that Arthur Abraham (46-5) will take on IBO super middleweight champ Chris Eubank, Jr, (24-1) on July 15 or 22 in London.
Abraham just won a WBO eliminator over Robin Krasniqi back in April, but apparently has decided to take the Eubank fight rather than facing WBO king Gilberto Ramirez in a rematch. Ramirez won the WBO title from Abraham last April with a twelve round decision in Las Vegas, as part of the Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley III HBO Pay-Per-View.
Eubank Jr. was in action back in February, when he moved up to super middleweight and won the IBO belt with a stoppage victory over Renold Quinlan. Abraham would be far be his most experienced opponent to date.
Danish light heavyweight Jonas Madsen (9-0) will now take on Russian Egor Bakulin (11-2-2) June 17 in Aarhus and not Ferenc Albert as was previously announced. Madsen vs Bakulin is for the vacant IBF Youth title and headlines this edition of Danish Fight Night promoted by Brian Nielsen and Mogens Palle.

Super middleweight prospect Patrick Wojcicki (7-0) takes on Finland´s Henri Kekilainen (9-3) on the undercard to Zeuge-Smith June 17 in Wetzlar. The met in the amateurs a while back with Wojcicki winning a very close decision.
