I disagree, he was drained to me. I said it once the catchweight was announced, I said it when they were giving updates on his current weight, and I said it when he weighed in.........he was drained




Nacho's comments: "He says he did not eat, I saw him eating egg whites..." are incorrect, because Chavez never said he didn't eat. He said: "In the last two weeks I ate very little, and last week I ate almost nothing" and eating egg whites is eating almost nothing imo.

Eating egg whites, and going as hard as they were to make weight, is not enough food to sustain energy breh...Im not even going to allow someone saying "I saw him eating egg whites" to act like that means he wasn't drained, because the body doesn't lie



At the end of the day, the buildup, weigh in, fight, and post fight all played out exactly how I thought from day 1. Only thing that I was wrong about is Canelo getting a KO via body shot

if the trainer and his father said weight had nothing to do with it, i'ma listen to them.....they were there the whole way through. they really have nothing to gain from making those claims.....the only one that should have issue is memo since that's what he was hired for. at the end of the day, many fighters have came to the scales drained. and many of them still went out and fought their hearts out...even came out victorious. I think both nacho and julio sr. are just saying if he really wanted to fight, he could have. don't blame weight. blame yourself for having no heart. and they're right. julio not fighting had absolutely nothing to do with being drained. he was just a coward who was scared of getting knocked out. and deep down he knows that.
