We just have to agree to disagree then.If you're interpreting that as him calling out Briggs for a fight, when Briggs himself didn't even interpret it as such, I don't know what to tell you, that's your own disconnect

Will believe it when I see itRoach: Pacquiao Will Have a Tune-up, Then I'd Love Mikey Garcia
By Radio Rahim
Freddie Roach, head trainer of WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (59-6-2, 38 KOs), views 2012 Australian Olympian Jeff Horn (16-0-1, 11 KOs) as the perfect stay-busy fight.
The fight will take place on July 2nd [July 1 in the United States] from the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia. A massive crowd is expected for the event and some New Zealand outlets have reported that thousands of tickets have already been scooped up.
Horn is viewed as a huge underdog in the fight. His best wins are against faded former world champions Randall Bailey and Ali Funeka.

Pacquiao was back in the ring last November, when he dropped and dominated Jessie Vargas over twelve rounds to recapture the WBO crown.
If everything goes well with Horn, Roach would love to see Pacquiao get in the ring with three division world champion Mikey Garcia (36-0, 30 KOs), who currently holds the WBC lightweight title.
Roach told BoxingScene that he recently spoke with Robert Garcia, brother and trainer of Mikey, about the possibility of making the fight with Pacquiao in the fall.
"[Horn is] a good fight to see where he's at and who's gonna be next. The thing is, it's kind of a tune-up fight for us and who he has next... Mikey Garcia's brother came to me the other day and said to me 'will you fight my brother?' I said 'sure.' I love that fight. I don't make the final decisions, but it's a possible future fight. That's what we're looking for right now, a tune-up fight and then on to bigger and better things," Roach said to BoxingScene.com.
With Pacquiao fighting at 147 and Garcia competing at 135-pounds, at what weight would would this collision take place?
"We'll fight from 140 to 147. It doesn't matter. We can make 140 pretty easy, but there are a lot of catch-weights in there, it's part of boxing these days. I know a lot of people don't like them. I'll do anything to stick up for my fighter. We'll negotiate a fair weight for who the opponent is,' Roach said.

Julio Cesar Chavez rips son's effort, unwillingness to throw punches vs. Canelo

Mexican legend Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. didn't pull any punches when it came to analyzing his son's performance on Saturday against Canelo Alvarez. Putting it as simply as possible, Chavez explained his mindset, "I am very disappointed."
In their pay-per-view showdown from Las Vegas, Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs) pitched a shutout on all three scorecards against a lifeless and uninterested Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (50-3-1, 32 KOs). Chavez's Hall of Fame father broke down the match Monday on ESPN Deportes, refusing to use the fact that Chavez Jr. was forced to cut down to the 164.5-pound catchweight as an excuse.
"No, no, no, no. Definitively no,
" Chavez Sr. said about the weight's impact. "It's true, there is a sacrifice and everything![]()
, but I think here Julio lacked that thing that his father had more than enough of.
"
That "thing" in question was heart, and Chavez Sr. was most upset with his son for not once emptying the tank and attacking Alvarez while being willing to potentially go out on his sword.
"Yes, that's the truth. He was too much of a conformist," Chavez Sr. said. "I was asking him to throw more punches
. That if he lost ... that if he got knocked out that he gift me a f------ round!
That he gift me a f------ round throwing punches
! I couldn't make him understand!
"
Chavez Sr. went on to admit he would have respected his son more for getting knocked out by Alvarez than losing in such a passive manner.
"When you are in the ring and you feel that your body is not responding, that you aren't doing any damage
, you feel that the punches are hurting you
, that you are weak
, the only thing you try is to survive
," he said. "And that's what Julio did, he tried to survive and that Canelo didn't knock him out in an embarrassing way
. That was Julio's fight. His body was not responding; he could not ask anymore of his body.

Come address the most lopsided, embarrassing performance by 1 fighter in a heavily hyped, Mexican vs Mexican matchup, ever
Chavez couldnt even give you the courtesy of winning just 1 single round for you after all the trash talk & obnoxious stanning you did on his behalf? The audacity & utter disrespect from him
I hope you are finally ready to make that wise decision and leave that scrub in the bushes for good now![]()

Rios got ko'ed by Tim BradleyAfter the Bradley fight I don't think he has it in him anymore to beat anyone worth anything
Rios would make a great gate keeper
Surprised he doesn't get hit up more often to give entertaining losses
If Lucas beats him in an a FOTY contender
Instant title shot?? @patscorpio
I would think it would give him more upside then beating TaylorRios got ko'ed by Tim Bradley..i have no interest in him fighting Lucas..no upside
