Nah I think Jo Jo Diaz isn't very impressive. He has very quick hands, but almost no power, and the way he punches.......his mechanics leave him wide open for a left hook. I think he's a KO waiting to happen. It would not be wise of Oscar to pit him against Valdez, or any of the othr top 4 at 126, for at least 2 years. Good check right hook and jab though. His check right hook is nice.

What about you @SuikodenII
Too heavy on his feet with his lack of power. It's cool that he wants to be offensive, but for his lack of power it won't do him any good if he faces a guy that can hurt him.

I look at the level of competition heading into a fight. When I look at Canelo's last few fights, they all consist of "money moves." Amir Khan, Liam Neeson, and Chavez Jr aren't going to exactly prepare you for a guy like GGG. What happened to the days where the type of matchmaking was put together to prepare you for a big fight? We really have no idea what Canelo has to offer at 160. We just know that he's very talented.

GGG's last couple of opponents were Brook and Jacobs. Against Brooks, he got to experience fighting a guy with WW handspeed, the type of handspeed he's not accustomed to seeing at MW. He also had the opportunity to fight Jacobs, which means he had the recent experience of grinding out a close fight against a guy that could potentially be a tougher fight stylistically than Canelo.

I'm going to edge GGG. I just don't like Canelo's resume at all. Mayweather JR and Lara are the only two fighters on his resume I felt had a legit chance of beating him.

You could argue the same for GGG, but at least he started collecting belts one by one, which indicates he's trying to make the best of what he could with 160.

I'm looking forward to this fight. Gives me sort of a Cotto/Margarito feel for some reason.
