If the hood fukked with boxing...there wouldn't be a need to be the villan.. no need to have Cacs N mexicans hate you to make $$$

What do you mean by 'the hood?'
AA are 12% of the population. Even if a majority of that 12% watched and supported boxing I don't think it would change how the majority of the boxing audience views said fighters.

Mexicans Americans and Mexicans share common language and are supported by their nations. Same with Cuban Americans, PR-Americans, and so on.

AA is just different. A minority population in the US, and not supported in the US nation. You win a medal for any of them nations and you are a hero. It just is what it is. shyt, just being in the Olympics any other them nations make you god-level. Not for AA.

This has everything to do with the viewing audience, who is majority in the US. Sounds like you have to allow the majority US audience :mjpls: to openly hate you, by being evil and vicious.

Because being a regular-good guy, just won't justify all the hate.

And unlike Mexican/Irish fanbases, AA have no nation backing them, and no common tongue like Spanish that ties them back to nation.
It absolutely is the audience. If Wilder was white he would have a huge following and you would be hearing how he was the #1 HW and despite Joshua-Klitschko being a great fight that Joshua still wouldn't get credit from them until he fought the white champion. Don't hear that from Wilder.

That is why I asked the best HW question last week. I don't think their is a true #1 right now (although I lean Wilder) and I think Joshua-Klitschko is a great fight, but the winner still needs to see Wilder to have any claim as the world's best HW. I also think that Fury has damaged his career enough that despite beating Klitschko, when he comes back he deserves to be considered one of the top fighters, but he has to earn back being viewed as the best HW in my mind. He may still hold the lineal title by the media, but he has to prove he deserves to be at the top.

It would make a difference...if your community fukks with you heavy you turn that into attracting the casuals much easier

N by hood I mean low income communities...boxing is a poor mans sport...that's where it should thrive the most but it doesn't...it's not available to the kids like it was before...which causes boxing N it's upcoming stars to lose out on fans

Growing up it was much easier to find a boxing gym...$5 gym fees N shyt...now a days it's all mixed with crossfit & MMA N prices for one session is more then I paid for a month back in the days

If MMA is for poor CACs

Then Boxing is for poor blacks/latinos

The poor CACs support MMA waaaay more in their sport N that's why MMA grew N boxing is stuck in the mud

I'm not an Andrade hater I just don't think he nice like I say. Same way u don't think canelo is as nice as I do. That don't mean u a canelo hater
I do think Canelo is nice....just not nice enough to beat GGG or Andrade, and I want to see him face some of these young AA fighters at 154 or 160:yeshrug:

It wouldn't because at the end of the day, you need the majority audience to indulge. Meaning whites.

This is no different than hip hop sales, no different than movie sales, no different than business. You always hear about people having "cross over" appeal, "cross over" success, that shyt almost ALWAYS means do white people fukk with it? I ain't saying they holding the power but they make up such a large number you need that audience/consumer.

And I'm not talking about being a boxer. I thought we were talking about the boxing audience as a whole.

MMA grew because ain't been a notable white american boxer in sight, yet they have had stars in MMA. The majority audience has had NO representation in Boxing. They have plenty in MMA. Ain't no secret. But they will latch onto Europeans.

Blacks 12% , Whites 72% of the population. If both supported anything 100%, which do you think is gonna be more popular. Not excusing any lack of support but some of this shyt is right in front of our face.

12% of the population is still a whole lot of fukking people.. If the majority supported the black fighters it would absolutely have a huge impact
