It also tells me that Porter won't be facing him anytime soon unless WBC forces a mandatory over unification (something they probably won't do here)
WBA won't force a unification but can instead collect from Peterson's sanctioning fees and continue pump faking like they're really trying to consolidate their 339 belts.
Porter wouldn't get a shot at Pac for obvious reasons, IBF is a closed door, WBA is already a mess... HOWEVER...
It probably doesn't matter anyway seeing as how he had two cuts and probably will be out until the fall or winter anyway
In the meantime, Peterson needs a partner, there's no reason for him to stay inactive. And there was that very close decision that he would like to avenge...
