What is the story behind Eagles fans rocky relationship with McNabb? Watching from the outside, dude was a fantastic QB and one of the best in the league. I never delved deep into the logic behind it, always just assumed it was stereotypical Philly finding a way to hate on anything with their own sports.

man it goes all the way back to thaty draft where philly fans booed him because they didnt get that fukking pothead ricky williams and they got him instead (which was a pure blessing in disguise)..and you know the hot and cold games (the super bowl loss to the pats :francis:)..the feud with terrell owens..just little shyt here and there

Was hearing Cowherd talk the other day about how he thinks history will be kind to Romo on the Cowboys, largely to how he went out passing the torch to Dak and Cowboy fans in retrospect will appreciate what Romo gave them. I can't comment on that because I'm not a Romo or Cowboy's fan...but it made me think of McNabb with our conversation. Think McNabb will be remembered more positively in Philly as time passes...especially as time passes without having a QB nearly on his level?

nikka suck my dikk you tin raft floating muthafukka. :pacspit:

You acting like a hoe over some nikka you don't even know.

Worst things have been said in here about a fighter, than me thinking a nikka is arrogant. You losing your shyt over something this petty. I told you to drop it. Was that fukking complicated. Nah, you gotta keep going and have the last word like some fatherless neck snapping faggat. :what:

YES YOU ARE THE BAD GUY HERE, because you making something out of nothing. I gave you 2 posts on why I don't fukk with the nikka like that. Never disrespected his skills, but you still want me to give you a fukking essay about a nikka I can give 2 shyts about. I respectfully told you to chill, but you gotta have it your way like its fukking Burger King. Nah nikka fukk you.
People got on my case when I said Ward was a protected fighter around here. Anything construed negatively is considered slander against Ward. People pick on every boxer in the world around here and no one gives a shyt, for some reason it feels like Ward is untouchable.
I don't think Ward gets slandered around here at all (out in the media with racist overtones - absolutely). I think Ward is arguably the most universally loved fighters on these boards. Even brehs like you and I, who stan #GGGoodBoys say positive things about Ward all the time. I freely post I think Ward deserves to be #1 PFP and even admit I thought Ward edged Kovalev. I should be at odds with #SOGang because his biggest rival here seems to be #GGGoodBoys. I may stan, but I'm not here to ignore a man who is obviously great.

As you said people are focusing too much on that one word. The reality is his personality isn't my style, and I guess boiling it down to one word is just a way to give a quick description. But it isn't slander. Just a way to describe how I interpret his personality. He seems like a good dude who has overcome a lot of struggles in his life and has truly succeeded. Nothing but love for that. Ward's story is a true success story. Like you said with Broner, my favorite fighter is RJJ and he was/is cocky as fukk, but his personality is different (no two people are alike) and for whatever reason he engaged me. As you said it comes down to personal taste, I have nothing against Ward the man or fighter. I feel comfortable in my position saying I think Ward is #1 PFP, I look forward to watching him fight, but I don't want to "stan" him.

Professional boxer Adrien Broner was found in a vehicle riddled with bullets and arrested on an open OVI warrant overnight, according to Cincinnati police.
The one-time four-division champion, who lives in Cincinnati, was booked into the Kenton County Detention Center at 1:18 a.m. and released at 5:10 a.m. after posting $503 bond, jail records show.

Fighter Adrien Broner gives a statement during a press conference on Tuesday.
Sam Greene/The Enquirer
Broner, 28, is scheduled to appear in court April 27.

Covington police took him into custody overnight after stopping a white Chevrolet Suburban crossing into Kentucky, according to police.

The Suburban had been shot about eight times.

Cincinnati police had received several reports shortly before of shots fired from residents in the area of West McMillan Street and West McMmillan Avenue.

Broner was found behind the wheel of the rented Suburban. He told police an unknown suspect followed him from the G-Money Bar on Queen City Avenue.

As they approached West McMillan Street, the suspect fired several rounds, striking his vehicle approximately eight times, according to Broner's account to police.

Broner was not hurt.

Covington police arrested him on an open OVI warrant and the SUV was held for investigation.

Police located a crime scene in the area of the original shots fired call.

Ten 9mm shell casings were recovered.

Dude just gives off Wale vibes to me.

Like the nikka think he nicer than he really is
. Which is cool. We all interpret nikkas differently. I don't fault him for it or hate him/them because of it. Both are good enough at what they do to feel themselves. If you in some competitive shyt, you supposed to feel like you the best. I just don't rock with them on the level that they feel they at. That's all there is to it breh.

Exactly, and I already said I don't mind him being arrogant. My main gripe was how he fought. nikka missed all that and focused on one fukking word. :snoop:

Hell, I'm a Broner fan. That nikka cocky as fukk too and I don't mind it. Dude is entertaining as fukk in and out of the ring. So he good in my book.

Like I said earlier, if you doing some competitive shyt you should be confident/cocky. Just back it up.

:wtf:

Breh, you just described Adrien Broner to a Tee.

I remember being nervous of that game bc all they wanted to talk about was our record playing below a certain temperature.......but when Ronde sealed it with that pick:noah:

My worst playoff moment was that NFC Game vs the Rams in the playoffs w/ Shaun King leading us. We should've been the ones beating the Titans in the 2000 Super Bowl:to:
