1.that talk comes from pac/jmm4 fight. but jmm had fought many 3 times before in close fights...he knew him In and out better than may probably...lol

2.im starting to think this Thurman/swift fight gonna be very controversial unless there is a KO, just like swift/ped.

do u have a prediction yet for Thurman or any gameplan? I say a 7-5 type win for Thurman.

I also noticed something in that swift/ped fight. Garcia actually did better when ped was moving n boxing. but Garcia looked borderline shook when ped started coming in close for him and throwing body shots and banging. weird.lol

Swift was gassed they blamed it on being drained N said his body wouldn't rehydrate the right way

I blame it also on inactivity if dudes inactive he gasses...happened in the Zab fight where he hurt his ribs N postponed the fight

Happened in PED fight...over a yr off between fights ... (Not counting 1 N a half rds with Salka) even then, was 8 months in between Salka N PED

1. Yup and even then JMM had to go to hell and back to land that KO punch on Manny. Pac's style is a killer for the 1st time. That's his biggest advantage H2H.

2. I can see Thurman/Swift going either way. I'm a fan of both guys, but Im a Florida nikka so I gotta side with Thurman. Thurman has to start out fast and make Swift get discouraged so he fights behind him. Swift is usually at least effectiveness when he fights behind you (1st Morales fight and Khan fight for ex) Dude's a slow starter, but picks it up quickly especially if you don't hurt him.

Swift looked effective countering Peterson early when PED was boxing, because PED when on the backfoot isnt natural. He isn't as effective, reason why LM and Ortiz were able to get to him early. Once Peterson starts coming forward tho he's a problem. I thought he kicked Khan's ass, but some say he didn't.

Hagler can box too, but hes a different animal when he's pressuring you.

Thurman needs to get a big lead early, and box clean late to take the fight and win.

Swift needs to start faster and get Thurman moving early, so when Thurman has to take chances in the mid or late rounds, he can time him better during the exchanges.

Great fight and one that Im looking forward to alot.

The Traps of Unified Korea
So I finished watching Holyfield - Lews I and two things :
- What do you guys think of the decision ?
- Wasn't Lewis' groin protector way too high ?
All-time robbery. There was a sentiment that the "powers that be" in the sport at that time absolutely didn't want Lewis as THE heavyweight champion and this was the culmination of that. From the Bowe duck, to the McCall loss, the Don King lawsuit, and then this, Lennox seemed cursed. He'd been at the door for heavyweight supremacy for like 7 years at this point

This the only place I know where nikkas got Ward winning by some land slide margin. Same place where Pac barely wins 2 rds against Floyd.

Same place that had Theopane competitive with Broner when he only landed a couple shots.

Same place that had Vargas competitive with Pac even when he only won 3 rounds at best

Same place where Herrera wins 10 rds against Swift because he unlocked Holmes jab midway during the fight.

I love my ring brehs,:salute:
but for the most part I don't fukk with a lot of the scorecards that be in here. :manny: shyt just be too extreme sometimes. Like nikkas lean towards or give the benefit of the doubt too much to certain styles.

You posted what I had been thinking. The Coli is the best place to have intelligent boxing discussions and have the fukkery only be about the boxing itself. But I have noticed in fight threads, the scoring is just as "shaky" as the scorecards people complain about outside of here.

We all have our biases and it shows (me included), that is why judging is so hard, hard to keep it 100 and not put that in. Plus we get the commentary which even if we don't think it does can change our opinion. I know brehs who have gone to fights from here usually post they felt different because they get the atmosphere and live action, with no up close camera angles and biased commentary.

Breadman's chat the other day was insightful, in that how many of us actually score a round and then put it away and don't reconsider it...that is what ringside judges to. that is a hard thing to do.
