Mad nikkas on here think Diaz beat Peterson. I was never one of them. Dude won the event, loss the fight type of deals. I'm not praising Diaz.
The c00n can box and he's much fresher than a guy like Molina. He beat another young contender in Vasquez who was nothing special but solid and undefeated. He had more potential upside than a guy like Ruslan who was already #AlgieriAssasins and Lucas leftovers by the time Molina got to him. Not to mention his earlier Bradley and Herrera wars that he lost. no agenda over here.
I'm just a lil tired of seeing boxing recycle the same old nikkas. Molina done had mad opportunities. He shows up heavier than a jr middleweight and out boxes ruslan and now he gets a shot at Crawford. Let someone else a shot at the big stage for a change.

@Newzz, according to Arum he is saying Broner was originally offered $4 million and in negotiations with Haymon he thought they had gotten within $100k of making the fight and then Broner spun negotiations by asking for 50% more.
Sounds like Broner was set to receive $4 + milly, which Haymon was fine with, but Broner wanted $6 + milly.

I didn't watch the Schaef dog clip, does he say much besides that?I dont disagree with your opinion. I could see it doing high six figures...I also could see it doing a milly plus. I wouldn't be surprised with either.
But that clip was all Schaefer dog, saying he would make Canelo-GGG now, he thinks it does over a milly, and he thinks GGG deserves a fair split and not a flat fee.

Not a dig at you breh I hate that phrase "lost the fight won the event" I instantly associate it with Klitschko/Lewis, where you could see part of Klitschko's brain and he still wanted to fight.
The 2nd point is what's real frustrating. You see Sugar John has fought; AB, Lucas, Ruslan and will now be fighting Crawford, plus many other 'name' fighters. And he's only really beat one, maybe two if you include Mickey Bey or whatever TMT sparring partner that was.
Same shyt happens with Ghost, it was happening with JuanMa years after his Salido beatings, Josesito was getting it too etc etc. I got no issue with Craw fighting Molina it's just
to me to see John John get these kinds of opps over and over. I'm sure if Ruslan still wants to fight he'll have a tuneup against a Siberian Slam Poet and then be back headlining a Showtime card
