Lampley was teary eyed heading towards the back locker room, the same one that the fighters walked through on the floor seats level. I doubt video exists of it, but it was noticed. Ironically 50 was near me and he loudly said "Damn that N#### crying".

Well, think again about Montoya. He is no longer a member of the BWAA which had 12 members at it's Las Vegas meeting and now has gone from 50 to 49 and sooner or later back to 50 when I get in eventually. Montoya could not afford air fare to Vegas and wrote a statement citing personal problems and spending money on trying to court Kim Francesca of boxing scene as making it impossible for him to fly out and asking for a longer time period for the 40 dollar fee.

It was a weird BWAA meeting as well as Rafael was viewed as a good guy for once getting after a highly viewed media member who had another notable writers credentials revoked due to a personal feud. I think the deadspin piece slamming Rafael also made the media and even Aux guys feel for him since he is so anti-social and unliked by the majority of the guys in the media center
