I never said mikey doesn't know what he's talking about. I said he's not in a position to tell a superstar how to make power moves. especially when he himself said he's in boxing for the MONEY first. how are you gonna say you're only boxing for the money then turn around and criticize another fighter for making money moves. dude is a hypocrite.

I ain't even goin lie after Ortiz Berto I was already tired N wasn't too interested... jus imagine casuals who have no idea who tf Porky Medina is

Showtime hasn't had ANY 50/50 or compelling fights this year

Wilder vs Spzilka was the closest

Once PBC gets its network deal then Showtime will get better fights too...so I don't think they are too worried... Plus they goin be all over Thurman vs Porter

Actually kinda surprised. Dude is one of the only 168 lb's who hasn't created buzz for a GGG fight, yet may be one of the most logical opponents if DeGale and him fight to determine who is the best at 168.
Ward got that mention at 168.
JCC got the mention and he recently tweeted he would be down to fight if GGG moved up.
Froch is always mentioned.
Hopkins said he would move down to 172, because ODH is hyping up that, instead of pushing GGG-Canelo.

Jack should be receiving some publicity. Not necessarily to fight GGG, but just in general. If he and DeGale fight the winner will be considered the best at 168, yet it still kinda feels like they are living in Ward's shadow, JCC is the big money, and a lot of people believe Froch would take over being the best if he came back. 168 has good talent, just needs some more hype.

Never really paid much attention to DeGale or Jack...but after last week's fights, not only were the fights a good look (Jack) and bad look (DeGale) for the fighter's, but I thought there personalities showed the same effects. Jack seemed humble, likable, and thankful for what he has done so far. DeGale seemed annoyingly arrogant and unlikable. Some positive hype could do Jack well, just like Spence. They seem like low-key, likable guys who the public could get behind.

Thurman-Porter will be a great barometer to see what PBC can do and possibly become if they start putting on top tier matchmaking. That should have great ratings all over it. Get that fight some numbers and it could be a great way to boost future PBC cards, but they have to keep creating intriguing matches.

If Thurman-Porter comes and goes and the public reception is poor or lukewarm . That fight feels like it should have and needs a great reception to create some juice.

See that's the thing though. Cats are trying to have shyt both ways when it comes to rating GGG. On one hand nikkas say he's garbage because he hasn't fought anybody and that he's overrated etc.....but on the other hand, nikkas is only confident in picking Ward to beat him. A guy that's already moved on (literally and figuratively)

If GGG was so easy to beat, Floyd would be hyping Jack up to take that 0 away. Hell, I think Jack has the skillset and size to give GGG a tough fight. If Golovkin's not as good as advertised, then couldn't a guy like Jack expose him?

I honestly think people are waiting to see some chinks in Golovkins armor before they start beating down the doors to face him. The rounds that a past it Ouma took from him weren't convincing enough. nikkas gotta see Gennady get dropped or get befuddled by movement or something in order to get people to pull the trigger on his fights. That's the thing about this era, nobody wants to be the 1st one to risk shyt. They gotta see someone else do a lil damage first.

Hell, I didn't think it was possible to hurt and drop Juan Urango until I saw Randall Baily do it on FNF. Even though Urango still won, I just knew other boxers were looking at that shyt like if I catch him with the perfect shot, I might be able to KO this nikka. Next fight comes up and Devon Alexander of all people does it.

It's like in boxing, nobody thinks something can be done, until they see somebody almost do it.

If Lemieux would have been competitive with GGG or at least buzzed him a couple times, than I bet a guy like Saunders would have taken the fight instead of finding ways to pop shyt and avoid it.

Im not saying GGG has to fight Jack...Im saying I cant believe Floyd is missing out on the opportunities being presented to him (constantly being asked about facing GGG at 154) and is instead, brushing GGG off towards another fighter outside of his own



That's free publicity/buzz for Badou Jack if Floyd would actually say something like:


“GGG, I think that it’s best that he goes up and fights Badou Jack...I think that’d be a good fight for GGG. Badou Jack, that’s a good matchup. He's a young Lion.
