stevie johnston would have been a decent fight, but again he lost to castillo, the same fighter loyd fought right away when he moved up

Marcos Maidana lost to Amir Khan....and went on gave Floyd his toughest fight since JLC.

AL Haymon not stupid. His two biggest draws will fight one another once the fight had marinated a little. Expect both danny and ab to get a couple of good opponents (think of nikkas like berto, ortiz, vargas, prov, molina,) then face one another in about a year. If built the right way this could do 500k ppv imo.

The problem with he didn't fight xxxxx fighters is that nikkas don't exactly have all the time in the world especially after Oscar it takes time to build shyt on the level Floyd was fighting at $ wise so it's not like he could fight 6x a year n shyt. Most old Timers from the early 1900s - 1940s are greatly overrated, which is why I try to only go by eras. No way can someone convince me that any fighter from back during that time period is just "better" than Floyd when their comp wasn't that stout imo.

Well, his promoters have said that before, this wasn't the first time. The question is, can Saunders team put together an offer worth more than what is available in the US. If they can and GGG's team is saying this, that is when the pressure is on.

K2 offered Saunders $2 million to fight in the US, with GGG getting about the same. Saunders said it wasn't enough and he could get more in the UK. A lot of insiders contradicted that and said they weren't sure Saunders could bring in that type of UK fan base (like a Froch, Fury, etc). Saunders came back at that and said he would be willing to make less in the UK than the US.

To me this means BJS needs to put in work. His team needs to come up with an UK offer. We already know what an US offer looks like, roughly $2 million a piece and 16k fans in LA or NY. If Saunders can put together a better offer, than he has some leverage.

Hope he can come up with it because I don't think he will come to the US and fight. If that happens, we could get GGG vs. BJS in the fall and then GGG vs. Canelo on Cinco de Mayo for all the MW marbles.
