Only reason Wilder is going to Russia is because they lost the purse bid to Povetkin's team. In the case of Wilder vs Joshua, Joshua would have to come over here, and the fight would no doubt be held in Vegas

I got a few questions for my boxing heads. Ya'll clear up some questions I need a layman's term answer for:

1. Sparring. I know what it is but...how often do boxers spar in a lead up to an upcoming fight? Weekly? Every other week? Once a month? Also, are they controlled? When I say controlled, like is one round geared towards one boxer being the aggressor and the other boxer working on defense and then vice versa?

2. why when I check the rankings for the wbo, wbc, ibf, and wbo, etc.....some fighters are ranked in one publication but not the other? FOr example, why isn't Amir Khan ranked in the WBA and IBF rankings but is ranked by the WBC and WBO??
