How is Ward gonna handle Kovalev's power tho?

:lupe:
Did you watch the fight last night friend? Possibly you did on mute? Roy broke it down pretty straightforward. You can't generate power without space. Dre gives you no space to breathe. Also, he can generate enough power from the inside to create a legit KD from a check hook. :yeshrug: good fight that Dre has in the bag by round 6.

What:what:

The fukk you think Andre Ward is?

:pachaha: yeah I can't wait. This shyt going to be hilarious come fight time. Dre going to be ruffing him up on the inside and Kkk and going to be able to do shyt.

And he isn't a volume puncher at that:pachaha: yeah buddy:ahh:
Don't worry breh :snoop:

Dre threw 422 punches (apparently) with 8 right hands, and won his first fight at a new weight class 12-0 with a point for a KD.

Am I in the twilight zone :mindblown:

Counter with what?
Ward doesn't have the power to KO Kovalev. Probably doesn't have enough to seriously hurt him.

I think Ward's gonna get hit.
A lot.

I understand that technically, he's a more skilled fighter. But if it goes 12...it's gonna be a long 12.
Breh run back the fight from last night. 30 seconds into the first round. Dre counters with a power jab then hits barrera with a nice hook. Rest of the fight is not the same. Same shyt with manny/floyd. You dudes are ridic sometimes.

Thats what I'm thinking. I honestly haven't seen the fight in its entirety but I'm willing to bet he had issues and he would adjust. Barrara is a high volume puncher. Kk is none of that. Aside from power he isn't much of a boxer. He solid at mid range and knowing his distance but other than that he does nothing that great...

I'm not saying Ward is going to lose.
I just think he's going to have a hard time against a dude he probably can't knock out.

I think Ward is great.
I don't think he's on the same level as Floyd in terms of elusiveness.
But its not even Floyd's elusiveness that created the biggest problem for his opponents...it is the fact that most fighters were forced to constantly reset because of that jab to the body that Floyd threw constantly. He made it hard for dudes to get into a flow against him.

I think Floyd was something like...the least-hit boxer of all time...at least since CompuBox was keeping numbers on it.

Mayweather measures up with greats

More impressive than Mayweather's own connect percentage is that of Floyd's opponents against him. They land a mere 16 percent of punches thrown, the lowest collective figure recorded in CompuBox's 4,000-fight database.

What could possibly be more impactful in a fight than not getting hit?

Floyd's opponents also tended to throw less punches against him than they regularly did against other opponents which was a direct result of his forcing them to reset so often.

@TheLukieBaby why are you so embarrasing breh?

Do you say those things in order to get credentials (which I'd understand... slightly) or do you really believe the garbage you tweet?
