Funny thing though, the fight was originally ordered by the WBA to be Jose Benavidez vs Michele DiRocco....but Benavidez must've turned down the fight

Junior welterweight Adrien Broner has now been promoted to the status of "super champion" by World Boxing Association.

Broner (31-2, 23 KO), who captured the "regular" championship on October 3rd with a knockout of Khabib Allakhverdiev, was given a higher status in the organization after a ruling was issued by the WBA Championships Committee. Broner is a four division world champion.

Similarly, the WBA's interim 140-pound Jose Benavidez (23-0, 16 KO) must now be measured against Michele Di Rocco (40-1-1, 18 KO) for the WBA "regular" title - which became vacant when Broner received his higher status.

The winner of the fight between Benavidez and Di Rocco will face Broner next year in a mandatory defense.

All of the involved parties have been notified.

What is your opinion on Loma's chin?

He hasnt had a lot of pro fights and his style isnt a brawling style so he doesnt get it tested a lot. Physically he held up well against Salido, he was just too green to the dirty tricks in the pro game.

Skills wise i dont even think Loma vs. Walters are close, but i think Walters is good enough that Loma's chin will have to prove it is decent. If so, Loma should box him to a decision.

Not worried at all Gary can crack and we ate that and Salido was huge at the time they fought due to him not even making weight and Pretty boy's chin held up well.

I don't like this fight being at 130 though.
