Sumbu Kalambay(in my avy) underrated to forgotten vs a prime undefeated mccallum.

couldn't believe how slick he was with the jabs to face n body to frustrate mccallum a bit.

@Knicksman20 have u saw this old one yet?

thats the fight that changed mccallum. he realised he couldnt just run through everybody afternthis fight and he became a much better fighter for it. kalambay gets overlooked because of the nunn fight but he was a master boxer. made it look so easy.

They are talking about who is more boxing hall of fame worthy, not who they prefer on a personal level.

theres some bad fighters in the hall of fame. theres even actors in the hall of fame. the hof hasnt meant anything for a long time.

Love him or hate him, it is something that Dan brings up in his mailbag a lot (since he has a vote), where the Bradley vs. Donaire question came in.
The boxing HOF has a mandotory number of people that get in each year and sometimes there aren't enough people that deserve to get in. He has said he prefers a baseball style HOF where you vote and need to get a certain number of votes, so only the worthy get in, not people being let in on weak years.

Yeah he was nice. That's why it was such a shock when Michael Nunn sparked him in the first round with one shot. Very underrated fighter

Edit*** And I saw this fight bruh. Very good scrap

you not looking hard enough. the knockout punch was a counter right uppercut off a shoulder roll. boxing 101. he was a master. not many fighters in history have a huge punch AND are master boxers. everything he does is technically perfect.
