@LauderdaleBoss

I got around to rewatching Byrd vs Oquendo the other night breh

Chris - rounds 1,6,10,11,12
Fres - rounds 2,3,4,5,7,8,9

Fres 115-113

I thought Fres put in work in the majority of the early and middle rounds and made it awkward for Chris..Chris couldn't hurt him..however I do think Fres should have been docked points for the rabbit punching and shyt...ill never forget how he basically ended the fight with mo harris with a chop to the back of the head and got away with that as a KO :scust:..however Fres gassed late as usual..and Byrd won the last 3 rounds...basically doing what he did against mccline in trying to really score a late round KO..i had forgot that Fres might have actually scored a KD late but it was ruled a slip :mjpls:

on to the McCline fight later tonight

First off. :salute: for being a man of your word and taking the time to rewatch and rescore the fight.

With that said, and with your scores, along with the dirty tactics (tackles) and rabbit punching fukery that Oquendo was allowed to get away with.......

a fan of pure fisticuffs shouldn't be alarmed that a lesser talented challenger loss a competitive decision to the reigning champ under the above mentioned circumstances.

Which was my point in the 1st place. Oquendo did himself no favors by fighting like that and making a mockery out of the heavyweight championship.

Would you still call a fight that could have been 115-113 either way a robbery (especially when the challenger is applying Oquendo tactics)

I personally wouldn't.

I know that fight was a chore, but I know you'll enjoy rewatching the McCline fight.

Those Bryd #RapidFire combos during the mid rounds are. :ohlawd: If Jameel ain't outweigh dude by 65 pounds, he prolly would have been stopped that night.

I thought Swift buzzed him in the 6th I think. It was a looping right hand but Ghost play it off well. I'll rewatch the fight & see when

Yea One of them midlate rds...Swift caught him with the hook N then right hand...before the bell rang

Ghost was shook up N plopped down on his stool like :shaq2:

Oh....I watched the rest of the fight yesterday:ufdup:

My DVR recorded the 2nd showing on Tuesday while I was at work, it showed on FS1 at 3pm et:birdman:

Anyways, I watched it from rounds 6-12 (since my initial viewing stopped half way through the 6th) and had is 3-2 Guerrero after 5:umad:

And then Danny Garcia took the fukk over:whew:

I had it 6-1 Danny Garcia from the 6th round on up. Guerrero won rounds 1, 4, 5, and 12 on my card. Garcia won rounds 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11.:obama:

Did he ever hurt Robert Guerrero? No...but he still landed some mean, clean shots flush to his chin/face.:damn:

The fight was not close at all. How anyone on twitter could believes so, means they are just a Danny Garcia hater:manny:

Danny Garcia whooped that ass clearly and there's no need for a rematch. @LauderdaleBoss was spot on with the Broner/Malignaggi comparision:obama:

You already know I keeps it 100/Trill with them comparrisons :salute:

Garcia was landing cleaner than Im used to seeing him land on Guerrero:whew:

I was like :whoo:, :leon:, :damn:, :ohlawd:, :wow: at some of those shots

For real. I know Danny had to hurt him several times with those types of shots he was landing. I recall Ghost actually getting rocked and taking a step back after certain punches.

Besides the 1st 4 rounds, that was the best Swift I've seen in a long time. :obama:

Swift was landing them Fight Night counters on ole boy. :heh:

Broner/Swift has ppv potential if built up and promoted right. Meaning....

US. Press Tour that includes at least the following states....Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Fla, and LA

At least 2 all access/behind the scene shows.

One card where both are featured and fighting lesser but still decent opponents. (Doubleheader)

If all this were to happen and we let fukkery run it's natural course, I think that shyt gets anywhere from 350k-500k buys.

Both are popular enough, but anything can happen. :manny:
