How can you oversaturate a product, when your JOB is to get your fighters in the ring 3-4x a year....and you have 175+ of em to do that for
I agreed with his problems with locations and subpar promotion, but oversaturation?
Like I told him, it's only FANS who complain about PBC...not the actual Boxers. On the otherhand, how many times have we seen fighters willing to walk away from the sport, because they aren't being treated fairly/not being compensated enough/aren't getting enough fights? (recent examples like Ward, Mikey Garcia, JCC Jr, Willie Monroe Jr, Andrade, Rigondeaux, Cotto, Floyd, ODLH, Hopkins, Judah, Winky Wright, etc). There hasn't ever been 1 fighter, trainer, or promoter who works with PBC/Haymon to talk down on them in anyway, so obviously, there's not a problem.
That's why PBC has so many channels...so that he CAN put his fighters on TV (and everyone knows you make more money for on TV fights vs off TV fights) and make them and their families money to survive. I've never heard 1 fighter talk down on Haymon & PBC, whether they were officially signed with them or not. Hell, Willie Monroe & Andrade were just basically begging to be released from their contracts so they can go to PBC about 2-3 months ago

Exclusive: Saunders wants Golovkin to agree UK clash in April
Middleweight world champion Billy Joe Saunders has responded to a unification offer from fellow titlist Gennady Golovkin by saying, "Offer me more money and come to the UK, then we will fight
Saunders (23-0, 12KO) – a former Olympian – won the WBO version of the world title only a few weeks ago with a points victory over Ireland’s Andy Lee and has already been offered a chance to challenge the 160lb kingpin.
Golovkin (GGG) - unbeaten in 34 fights - already holds the WBA and IBF belts but is eager to unify the division and become the undisputed champion. To do that he would need Canelo Alvarez’s WBC belt and the belt from Saunders – once terms can be agreed with the WBO champ.
“Golovkin’s team have made me an offer, but we can’t take it seriously at the moment and it doesn’t make much sense. It’s not just about more money, but about where it will take place and other factors,” Saunders exclusively told World Boxing News.
“I’m not just going to go over to America to fight him, let him come to the UK and let me have something my way. Even if they don’t want to offer the money that we asked for, we can negotiate that, but come to the UK.
“This fight isn’t all about GGG and it needs to work for both sides and Frank Warren is doing his upmost to try to get some things my way. It’s a hard fight as it is and I’m going into it as a big underdog, so at least let us have some things on our terms,” he added.
If the fight does happen Saunders is confident he can be victorious, but if it does not get made soon, he is ready to look elsewhere.
“I’ve always said I will face anyone and I wouldn’t take the GGG fight if I didn’t think I could win. Look at Klitschko vs Fury, everyone ripped Fury saying he would get knocked out and then he went and won. No man on this earth is invincible and I’ve seen things in GGG that I could exploit – I would give it my all to get that victory,” he continued.
“By the end of this month if this fight isn’t made, it wont happen in April. If I wasn’t champion, I would have taken the fight without hesitation. But I’m not a challenger and I have other options to go and make money elsewhere. I want to be fighting four times a year so need to start sorting things.
“Whoever my team put in front of me I will fight. I haven’t looked at anyone else yet because of the Golovkin offer but there are plenty of options out there for me. I Would love to fight Canelo or Cotto, and those fights can easily be made. Members of my team are well connected with Oscar De La Hoya so the Canelo fight can happen with ease - I would probably make more money from it to.”

Devon Alexander Planning a Ring Return in The Summer

2015 definitely wasn't a great year for Devon Alexander (26-4). In fact it was the worst time period of his professional career as he didn't win a fight in a calendar year for the first time in his pro career.
The former two-division champion lost an unanimous decision to Amir Khan in December, 2014 and didn't return to the ring until 10 months later when gritty veteran Aaron Martinez pulled off a major upset, beating Alexander by unanimous decision in Arizona.
Alexander, who is still just 28 years old, said that he wants to make another title run but plans on getting back to the basics that led to him to being a top prospect and then one of the best fighters in the world. He has dominant victories over former champions Marcos Maidana, Juan Urango and many other good wins.
"Ryan, last year obviously wasn't what I wanted. So I'm going back to the ground level and looking to build my way back up to the fighter I used to be," said Alexander who recently announced his engagement to Cesily Sanders.
The St. Louis native said he is targeting a summer return and feels he has another run left in him.
"I want to spend some time in the gym and then the fans will see me going back to dominating. I never ducked nobody. The fans know that and can expect to see me work my way back up to the big fights," Alexander told BoxingScene.com.
