I expected that fight to be close..not lopsided like it was..either broner got shook that porter gave in to his demands and made that ridiculous catchweight or broner himself drained to that weight and wasn't in the condition physically AND mentally to go 12 rounds with someone who had porter's style..it wasn't a good look overall

porter's 154 fights were struggles...the reason why he was able to do work at 147 was largely because he was strong enough to impose his style against naturally smaller fighters there except brook who is also a big welter..154 he has L's waiting for him there

Because he knows Shawn Porter personally, dating all the way back to the Ohio Amateurs, and he took him as lightwork due to the fact Porter doesn't talk trash, always stays professional, and is always smiling.
