Ward is right. This is a business first & the fight needs to be built. Ward hasn't been on HBO as a fighter in 2 years & needs to reintroduce himself to the casual hbo fans. Because of promoter issues & injuries, Ward has only had 3 fights since he won the Super Six 4 years ago & you can't play with boxing.

If Kovalev is the guy people say he is, he'll stay undefeated until the time comes.

I would like to see Ward fight the following guys:

1) Yusef Mack

This would be an excellent business opportunity for Ward. Mack has gained a new following & he will have huge support from the homosexual community. Ward will be exposed to the type of fans that don't normally follow boxing. Ward is on the grind trying to add new fans daily & this is a real good move.

2) Darnell Boone 2

Darnell Boone will test his shoulder, his knee, his mind & his body. This fight needs to happen

3) Cornelius White

Ward needs to fight a common opponent of Kovalev

All of these are real tough fights. Andre should fight these 3 guys. If he wins all three of these fights, he is hands down p4p.
