I think the jury is still out on whether May/Pac hurt future ppv sells.
You can't compare mismatches like GGG/Lemieux and May/Berto to fukking May/Pac.
Cotto/Canelo is the 1st ppv with two stars that are almost evenly matched. Now if that fight only does some shyt like 375k in sells, then yeah you can start running with May/Pac conspiracy theories and shyt. But to do so now is way premature.
I think Oscar and HBO not building Lemieux up a lil more( like getting a fight or two on HBO) hurt that ppv more than anything really.

Well, being that Benavidez was only an Interim Champion & Broner became the Regular Champion, Broner had to be elevated to Super in order to make Benavidez a real Champion (Benavidez now gets to fight for the Regular Championship).
