Juan Manuel Lopez Facing Domestic Violence Charges

Former two-division world champion Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez (34-5, 31KOs) is facing a complaint of domestic violence for allegedly striking his wife earlier this morning in an incident reported at a residential home in Caguas.
According to Primera Hora, the police confirmed that Judge Arnaldo Castro issued an arrest warrant for Lopez.
Based on the details of the preliminary data, the boxer allegedly hit his wife in the face after a verbal dispute while she was visiting a friend. Lopez showed up left the scene after the altercation took place.
She posted a photo to social media, showing signs of blood from the alleged attack. The couple has reportedly been separated for the last three months.
The police report stated that she suffering an injury to her nose, but no fracture was discovered.
Lopez retired last year after suffering a vicious knockout at the hands of Jesus Cuellar. It was his third knockout loss in four fights.
