@Newzz i think haymon made keith fight collazo for real though .

Even if true, for sake of argument, that doesn't change the fact that he actually faced a washed up Collazo, a 40 year old in Bundhu, and then turns around and says that Spence isnt worthy of facing him:bryan:

If he isnt worthy, why would they have been....they definitely weren't worthy either:dead:

It's like Danny Garcia facing Rod Salka at 140, staying at 140 and then turning around to say Amir Imam doesn't deserve a fight with him if he was called out:mindblown:

@Newzz You're really gonna tell me Spence is more deserving of a Thurman fight than Beterbiev is of a Kovalev fight :onetimeorly:

At least Beterbiev has fought legit competition. Cloud & Campillo >>>>> anybody Spence has fought.

Plus Beterbiev has worked his way up the rankings. He's fighting in an IBF eliminator bout for a shot at Kovalev's title. Has Spence worked his way up the rankings? :onetimeorly:

There's valid points being made for thurman/spence from both sides. Talent wise, they'd be each other's best opponents for sure. Imo i think spence should fight a top 10 ww first to build it up, but I'd have no problem if they made that fight right now.

Japan Update: Inoue, Yaegashi in year-end title fights, plus much more
By Joe Koizumi
Photos by Boxing Beat

Unbeaten Japanese prodigy Naoya Inoue (8-0, 7 KOs) will make his initial defense of the WBO junior bantamweight belt after a one-year hiatus due to a hand injury against #1 ranked Warlito Parrenas (24-6-1, 21 KOs) of the Philippines in Tokyo, Japan, on December 29. On the same show, formerly two-time world champ Akira Yaegashi (22-5, 12 KOs) will have an ambitious crack at the IBF junior flyweight throne against Javier Mendoza (24-2-1, 19 KOs), a southpaw Mexican puncher handled by Erik Morales. If successful, it will be his third belt in addition to the WBA light-fly and WBC fly belts that he previously he held.

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
Like I said, and you know it too, Spence beats EVERYONE Thurman has ever faced:ufdup:

:usure:
We dont know that at all.. We do know you basing this off some mythical sparring session where he supposedly made Adrian Broner cry :smugbiden:

But all his opponents have been Salka status.. :francis:

Until I see him beat an ex-champ, win an eliminator, beat a gate keeper, etc, then he's a nobody who's not important and should be ignored until he proves himself and earns a fight with a guy like Keith Thurman

Behind You
Beating Spence, a highly touted contender, former Olympian, & the person alot of people (fans and media) think is next up to run Welterweight since Floyd has retired, doesn't do anything for his career, but beating "Leonard Bundwho?"and a washed up Luis Collazo did?

Showcase fights that benefit Thurman by exposing him to a network audience while not ruining some youngster that has a future ahead of him.
