We happily except that challenge :demonic:

Why aren't people bytching that he's a JWW though? :francis:

I guess its okay when its Craword, but not okay when its undefeated Bradley and Algieri:patrice:

It's not okay, but all we would be doing is saying the same thing we've already said about Pacquiao.....but it's just Moses being Moses at this point:manny:

We all know he drags lighter fighters up to a different weight class instead of fighting them at their class, or fights his opponent at a catchweight.:yeshrug:

In his last 14 fights (including his return if picking Crawford)...8 of his opponents were under stipulations: De La Hoya, Cotto, Margarito, Marquez, Rios, Bradley, Algieri, and now Crawford:manny:

Behind You
According to a source reporting exclusively to Behind The Gloves.com, Charlo turned down an opportunity to fight fellow undefeated Julian “J Rock Williams (21-0-1, 13 KO’s) and pursued a fight with former world champion Austin Trout (30-2, 17 KO’s), but was rejected by Trout.
OK, I could see bypassing JRock to fight Trout but when Trout shoots you down (and what the fukk is he smoking to be turning this fight down anyway?) how do you then skip over JRock and pull SIlky Wilky from out of nowhere as your next opponent?

What was Oscar the A-sides stipulation??

What was Bradley's stipulation??

What was Rios stipulation??

But I guess in your mind it was perfectly fine for Biscuits to drag Porter down in that pointless Fight for Ohio bout a few months back huh? :camby:

Roy Jones plays Pacquiao matchmaker, offers Broner as gateway to Floyd

Eight Division world champ Manny Pacquiao has been sidelined with a shoulder injury suffered in his super fight with Floyd Mayweather and is now searching for an opponent to make his return against in 2016.

Candidates for Pacman’s dance partner include Terrence Crawford, Lucas Matthysse, and Amir Khan.

However, Roy Jones Jr. had a different opinion of whom Pacquiao should fight next. In an interview with lead HoopJab correspondent Neal Anthony Johnson, Jones stated that he hopes Mayweather-Pacquiao II can happen in the future. That was not the interesting part of his response. Jones Jr. went on to say that if Pacquiao is leaning toward another Floyd Mayweather fight he would want to see Pacquiao beat Broner first.

Jones explained to Johnson, “Broner is the closest thing to Floyd Mayweather that we’ve seen, as far as style wise. So let us see how you do against Broner. If you beat Broner then you give us a reason to think, ok maybe you have understood the style enough to get back in front of Floyd Mayweather again. If you don’t beat Broner, then we know you ain’t going to come close to beating Floyd.”

If Pacquiao lost to Broner, a Floyd rematch would be off the table. Still, a Pacquiao-Broner clash is nowhere to be found on the radar of big fights for 2016. Politics aside, this is not a fight that Al Haymon and Bob Arum would come together for in the spirit of business.

Broner just fought Allakverdiev and called out Ashley Theophane after defeating Khabib, two names that do not belong in the same sentence with Manny Pacquiao regarding boxing pedigree. Also, if the rumor that Adrien Broner is to be trained by Freddie Roach is true, again just rumor, then that fight is definitely off the table, as is a fight with Viktor Postal due to his allegiance with Roach.

I respect Jones as much as the next guy, but beating a fighter like Broner does little for Manny? A.B has already suffered losses to two pressure fighters at 147 (Porter and Maidana), both of whom are not as highly regarded as Manny. Broner does do several things similar to Mayweather, but to say he is the closest thing to Mayweather we have seen? I do not agree with that.

In my opinion, guys like Andre Ward and Erislandy Lara are a bit more similar to Mayweather. Ward and Lara are both exceptionally skilled boxers who have been accused of being boring and uneventful in the ring.

I have heard a lot of criticism about A.B. However, I have never heard that his fights are boring. Broner has scored 23 knockouts in 31 wins and is always entertaining. Even if Broner is “About Boxing” from now on, I don’t see him winning, or even being a contestant in the Pac sweepstakes next spring.

What was Oscar the A-sides stipulation?? He had to come down to a weight he hadn't fought in over 7 years in order to make the fight, since Pacquiao would refuse to fight him at 154.

What was Bradley's stipulation?? He had to move up to 147 in order to get the fight.

What was Rios stipulation?? He had to move up to 147 in order to get the fight.

Porter could've fought AB at 140, he didn't want to go that low. AB could've fought Porter at 147, we didn't want to go that high. We then agreed to face each other at a catchweight....AB's 1st catchweight of his career, unlike Moses Pacquiao aka The Catchweight King:umad:

Also, call fights pitting top fighters against top fighters pointless brehs:camby:

It is just a blatant dodge.
He got a gift title shot and win against old ass K9 and then wants to try and avoid real comp.:martin:

JRock should try to get a fight against the Other Charlo and whoop his ass so he can force them to give him his shot at the belt.

I am a Roy Stan till I die and I love hearing him talk about boxing but he gonna have to get outta here with this nonsense.
While I have no doubt Pacquiao would beat Angry Beard if they fought, the idea that Pacquiao should be spending the twilight of his career concocting roadmaps to get a rematch against Floyd is just stupid.
