And Ken Porter has a great point with that.

Ever since Floyd finally became a scheduled 12 round fighter, beginning all the way back in 1998 against Genaro Hernandez at 130, he's only had 9 KOs over his last 32 fights spanning 17 years

Again, over the last 17 years, he's 32-0 with 9 KOs ever since becoming a 12 round fighter....that's Paulie Malignaggi type of power right there breh.

That's his opinion.

And what Ken Porter said is he feels it will be "bullshyt" waiting on Floyd, because it's been "bullshyt" waiting on Thurman & Swift so far. nikkas aint really trying to fight Porter breh...that's why he has no fight lined up yet, and it aint for lack of trying either.

He doesn't wanna entertain more bullshyt and having their careers placed on hold because nikkas aint really trying to glove up, just talk about it. If they really were bout that action, contracts would already be finalized.

Funny how you have nothing to say about Swift saying him and washed up Guerrero would be a great matchup though:mjpls:

Really its 12, fights were the ref or the corner stop it should count. Its not really Floyd power thats been the problem its his hands, the usual 10+ lbs hes giving up, and the fact that hes really a defensive/counter puncher type of fighter.
I think if Floyd fought with sparring gloves he would prolly have gotten way more dudes outta theyre, i also have said it before but i think he really doesn't want to seriously hurt guys over the last few years because hes knows
what happens to guys who get KOed and take a lot punishment. His dad and especially Roger deterioration are imo having a serious effect on not just his love of the sport but his desire to really hurt a guy.

I look at certain fights like against JMM, Cotto, Berto, and Guerrero and see times where he has a guy in position to really turn it up and finish them off and he steps off the gas for no apparent reason.
Than I see and read his comments and he always placing heavy emphasis about hitting and not being hit, fighting smart, how he wants to retire with his mind intact, and his demeanor when discussing Rogers health and
he seems to be very cognizant of the dangers of brain damage.

Like I said its just my opinion and utilizing my arm chair psychology skills. It could just be all about his fukked up hands :yeshrug:

if ur saying he holds back and could have stopped some fighters i agree, not cuz he doesnt want to hurt them but cuz he wants to play it safe and smart and not get hit with anything... him being more aggressive gives the opp a chance of landing something on him.

he has enough power to stop guys but at the end of the day he just wants to go out there and box ur ears off for a ud.

Hes got an A++ chin, them Mosley shots would have KOed 99%of fighters and that kinda goes to my theory of him being heavily concerned about brain damage but maybe not just his own. I mean he could have finished JMM several times in that fight and Juan was zero threat to him but he just took his foot off the gas, Berto aint got the pop to really hurt him and a few times in the fight he had him in position to which if he wanted to he could have finished him off. Again I could very well be reading to much into it.

No matter the reason we both agree he's routinely had guys hurt and has backed off maybe someday in the future once he's been retired for a few years we'll get a tell all book that will go into deeper detail on his mind set.
