are you being sarcastic? lewis was how old and he is not one of the best HW of all time.
and did u not forget, vitali was lucky to come out of that fight without permanent injury/disfigurement.
The Klits are the Kings right now and deserve major accolade.
i never understood why roy left the heavyweight division..john ruiz was a bum but he could punch like a regular heavyweight and he had no trouble handling ruiz's power...he could have had title unifications with chris byrd, face holyfield or tyson, hell even jones-toney 2..there were fights there that were worth his while financially..because, talent aside, most of his fights from the time he blew away montell griffin in the first round in the rematch to the clinton woods fight were not must sees..just glorified flamboyant sparring sessions
he should have fought dariusz during that time too since he was the actual lineal light heavyweight champ (im a stickler for that) before dariusz got ruined in them 2 wars with richard hall (woefully underrated fights)..the biggest mistake roy made with his matchmaking was not fighting bernard hopkins again in 2002..that was the ultimate moneymaker rematch..everyone wanted to see that fight..the stars were aligned and roy fukked it all up with the negotiations..60-40 for a cat who was at equal footing as him at the time..thats insulting..i was pissed when roy fought clinton woods instead
then of course he fukked up his body draining to 175..suffer damaging losses and his career has never been the same and now it looks like he's on his way to being another boxing brain damage casualty

Not to mention Prime Calzaghe, Roy is the ducker of duckers
Thank you, I was preparing a manifesto for Roy nuthuggers that detailed his duckage, no need to nowhe beat virgil hill, mike mccallum ( even though he was past prime), alot of contenders/solid top 10 names at light heavy(like reggie johnson, julio gonzalez, thorton, clinton woods, louie de valle) but nothing spectacular.
how did a light heavyweight, who jumped 2 classes up in weight duck a whole heavyweight division. nikkka roy took the RISK of going up in weight. even though i think he could have beat certain fighters a heavyweight, the size was obviously a bit too much for him. a reason why he went back down to light heavy. so how is that duckin skip?
please list these fights where roy supposedly took less money against lesser opponents to avoid big fights. one thing about roy is that he always took the lions share and nothing less. shyt even in the ruiz fight he made 10 million and 60% of the ppv revenue. like i mentioned his attitude might have costed big fights to happen but I don't think he was scared to get in the ring with anyone from g-man, eubanks, collins, dariusz, toney, and benard.
im not even a roy fan like that but if u want to say roy was overrated that's cool. but to say he ducked this guy and that guy, thats all nonsense. question, do you think roy avoided the rematch against bernard when he asked for 60/40?
F**k Dariusz Michalczewski. He never even entertained the thought of coming to the states to fight RJJ. RJJ was the bigger draw then and more popular fighter. RJJ would've starched him anyway.
Nobody beats Roy Jones Jr at super middleweight and light heavyweight. Nobody.....well except maybe Michael Spinks at 175

How was Roy a bigger draw Roy didn't use to fight on ppv, nor HBO, half of his fights were on fox sports back in the day, it probably would have been one of his better pay days. Why waste time arguing with nutthuggers who never was a die hard and don't know shyt about boxing
So are you gonna deny he ducked Prime Calzaghe, so did BHOP
"I only want big-money fights," said Calzaghe, who defends his WBO title against Australian Rick Thornberry in Cardiff on Saturday.
He has no particular desire to test himself against the very best, such as WBC light-heavyweight champ Roy Jones.
Calzaghe added: "I'm not chasing after Roy Jones. Be honest, Roy Jones is a good fighter and I don't want tough fights, I just want big money.
"I just want to make sure I never have to work again. I've got mouths to feed and that's the most important thing."
what the hell? roy never duck calzaghe? calzaghe was at 168 for all of his prime and never showed an interest in moving up until he was getting old and wanted to cash out against a faded roy and out of prime b-hop (i still think bhop won that fight)
