You can shout Salka til your voice is horse it still doesn't make the Rees fight good :dead: N that is the discussion

Adrien Broner vs Gavin Rees was a better FIGHT and a better MATCHUP period.

People go by odds all the time especially when they are so lopsided :dahell:

Not me. I've never judged the quality of a fight by odds breh....never have and never will.

I dont know anyone, except you, that judges if a fight is going to be a good one by what bookies say or the odds they lay:manny:

I didn't need to see the odds to know 5'2 Rees had no chance in hell N it was a mismatch neither did anybody else on earth with eyeballs :aicmon: every boxing site on the internet was bytching about that fight

Funny, because I just went back in the archives of THIS thread and there wasnt any "bytching" going on:mjpls:

And you know I go back and search:heh:

Nobody was bytching about the fight except 1 person, and that was after the fight, it was Amare's Right Hook:yeshrug:

You didnt even say anything and I read EVERY comment from December 28th, 2012 when Suikoden was the 1st to post about the fight happening until Feb 22, 2013...about a week after the fight.

You think HBO was happy showing an 80-1 odds fight?? That whole broadcast they was :shaq2: N right after Haymon was banned

They approved him as an opponent....and, once again, he was ranked highly by WBC (#1), WBA (#2), and WBO (#5). Also he was ranked #6 by RING, was a former WBA Champion at 140, and had only 1 loss in 39 career fights. He became the opponent once Ricky Burns ducked him and because AB already destroyed DeMarco, who else was for him to fight? Vazquez was with TR. Rees was the best available opponent and his rankings point to that fact.

There's nothing else for me to say on that

I'll let you have the last word N you can speak about revisionist haters N Rod Salka

I mean there's nothing to say. All I said was Gavin Rees would beat Rod Salka's ass. Dont forget, you brought Gavin Rees up not me.

No need to argue about it though, the fight happened and Im more concerned about who AB is fighting on March 7th:yeshrug:

I missed this post:wow:

Hopefully, it brings us 5x as many Erislandy Lara's, Guillermo Rigondeaux's, etc:ohlawd:

They should be able to be comfortable here now, instead of having to sneak out of Cuba in the middle of the night and leaving their wife and kids to fend for themselves, and be able to focus 100% on boxing.

I think it's gonna be great for Boxing.
I hope so breh

I'd like to see that slick 6'4 dude who beat Anthony Joshua in the ams become a pro.

Could y'all imagine if we would have seen Rigo starting at age 22? Crazy. A ninja with size n/h like Lara in a mixture of a cuban and american style?
