brehs when does fnf return
I know people aren't acting like El Matador didn't eat flush left hooks from Tito in the first round of their fight and laugh it off.
Tito had that boy taking knees from that beating just 7 rounds later
Tito was lucky too cause Mayorga was gonna KO him in round 9
Add this to the news that Cunningham-Glazkov final eliminator is in play, X-mas has come early for USS CunninghamAt Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, heavyweight contender and former cruiserweight champion Steve Cunningham and his wife Livvy were overjoyed this morning to receive the news that their 9 year old daughter Kennedy's heart transplant surgery was a success.
The fearless Kennedy went into surgery around 3:00am. Kennedy's pre-surgery comment was, "When the clock says it's about to be fight time, you need to pack up and go. It's about to be fight time right now."
Kennedy has emerged as the champion in this fight! At 7:30am, the surgeon, Dr. Victor Morell reported that the heart was placed and beating. About an hour and a half later Dr Morell confirmed the surgery went well and the risk factors they were concerned with ended up not being issues at all. The Cunningham's feel incredibly blessed.
Steve and Livvy issued this statement, "We are so happy to share that early this morning our daughter Kennedy received the gift of life. She received her new heart and is doing very well. This day is so very special to us and the promise of a better and longer life for our daughter trumps any victory boxing could ever give us. This is the ultimate championship right here. We would like to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support. And most importantly we send our sincere condolences to the donor family that through their extraordinary selflessness made this day possible for our daughter. We are forever grateful!"

got to shake hands with paulie malignaggi & joel diaz last night victor ortiz was at the event too but he never came out to mingle with the crowd i was lucky enough to sit next to a chick whos in the boxing media and overheard some things.....
- brandon rios's arm will never be the same. he tore legitimates in his arm that even surgery cant fix. that arm has no pop or power behind it and he will pretty much continue fighting with one good arm
- joel diaz told ortiz that he was "mentally broken" and needed "professional help" ortiz didnt understand what he was saying. diaz told ortiz that if he really wanted to train with him and really wanted to take boxing seriously again that he needed a sports psychologist. ortiz see's one everyday now. ortiz never had a real trainer and was always the boss in his camps. joel is doing everything he can to bring back the old victor and it looks like we will be seeing that. ortiz actually reads every comment on his IG and it does fukk with him
- robert garcia camp is shaky at the moment. boxers feel they have met their full potential with robert. his "back to old school" style of training and firing ariza has alot to do with it

a lot of people are starting to get on board with this now. that last link is a big thread about his gloves. somebody said something interesting about the way golovkin punches said it was all arm and thats something i have also noticed. golovkin throws arm punches like that fadeaway right hand he knocked out geale with... wasnt any kind of weight in that punch... and that curved left hook he landed on top of rubio's forehead... no weight in it at all.... just arm
now i was wondering if anybody can tell me whether they think arm punches should be doing this to fighters
foreman threw arm punches but not like this. foreman loaded up and swung for the fences. you could see the power. you could understand it. golovkin... you cant. he knocked out geale with thissome people just have freakish power.

saying some people just have freakish power is a non answer and its a cop out. i want to understand boxing. i dont want to believe in magic and thinks things just happen just because of mystical forces. i want boxing to make sense
thats exactly what it isyou cant understand punching power in some scientific way that makes sense. its not a cop out at all.
reminded me of when naseem knocked down kevin kelley..that was a some short hook-jab but some immense power, plus kelley was a bit battered too.foreman threw arm punches but not like this. foreman loaded up and swung for the fences. you could see the power. you could understand it. golovkin... you cant. he knocked out geale with this
