Im sure you've never heard this so let me school you for a sec.

Pac fighting in China has impact on how they promote the fight.. It wasn't a major promotion for the fight in the US.. They didn't sale the fights in movie theatres. There was no nation wide promotional tour for the fight. Cant do that when you're in China. We dont even know how much revenue they got over there in Asia ppv market..

If Pac was fighting Algieri in Vegas and they did a nationwide tour with heavy promotion YES the fight would've done more ppvs of it was in Vegas

As far as "nation wide press tours" that Pacquiao vs Algieri supposedly didnt have:sas1:

Manny Pacquiao-Chris Algieri press tour announced

August 20, 2014

Manny Pacquiao and Chris Algieri will embark on an ambitious media tour comprised of stops in China, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York, Top Rank Promotions and Star Boxing announced on Wednesday.

Algieri (20-0, 8 knockouts) will challenge for the WBO welterweight belt held by Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38 KOs) on Nov. 22 on HBO Pay-Per-View at the Venetian Casino in Macao, China, where Pacquiao unanimously decisioned Brandon Rios in November.

The first stop in the estimated 27,273-mile tour is scheduled for Monday at the Venetian Macao, with expected participants to include Freddie Roach and Tim Lane, trainers of Pacquiao and Algieri, respectively, as well as Top Rank CEO Bob Arum and Algieri’s promoters, Joe DeGuardia of Star Boxing and Artie Pelullo of Banner Promotions.

Pacquiao, 35, was last in action in April, dethroning Tim Bradley by unanimous decision to regain the belt he lost by split decision to Bradley in June 2012. Between his first bout with Bradley and the Rios fight, Pacquiao lost via six-round stoppage in December 2012 by Juan Manuel Marquez, against whom Pacquiao is 2-1-1.

In June, Algieri, 30, rose from three first-round knockdowns en route to a disputed split decision victory over Ruslan Provodnikov, from whom Algieri won the WBO junior welterweight title.

Rios is a Mexican breh PLUS it was Pac's comeback fight.. Of course PAc/Rios draw is bigger than Pac/Algieri..

wish we had more knockouts in boxing :beli:
actually this year has been more thorough with KO's...at least in the first half of the year..there were some ridiculous ones..but just like last year there wasn't a lot in the fights with the high profile

the most significant high profile fight KO this year was porter sending paulie's equilibrium to the bushes

I can careless about Vargas but the brother Nazeem exposed trinis trickery with the hand wraps.... Using a whole roll of tape on each hand, punches were never the same after that.

Do some research:stopitslime:...Trinidads wraps was nothing but a technicality N was fine N legal EVERYWHERE but NY...there was no punching advantage with the wraps

Titos punching power was never the same again huh?? You wanna tell me who was the first nikka to ever drop the iron chinned Mayorga:smugbiden:
