2014 has been trash.
However, I do feel it was all good until Schaffer resigned. It's like the moment he left Golden Boy, it changed the whole landscape of boxing. GBP had stacked cards & were putting their guys in tough fights.
Oscar crying about Canelo-Lara being made while his ass was in rehab, because it's a tough fight.

wasnt the last schaeffer card he had input in was the card with the guerrero vs kamegai main event? because that was the last showtime card this year where all the fights were entertaining from top to bottom..hell i think its the only one this year for showtime
The only other card that I can think of that had some hype, but turned out shytty anyways was the Porter/Brook card.

All of the cards are mismatches, the fighters just suck too much and make it entertaining.

hell no he wasnt..guerrero for whatever reason escapes criticism and the tag of being overrated..cuz he deserves both..the kamegai fight was supposed to be a showcase after his lack of fighting spirit against floyd..instead he's dragged into a war and gets busted up again...prolly the worst he's been busted up ever...against a limited hard punching slugger...fight wasn't a good look..dude is a serviceable fighter but a top contender he is not
