This is my scorecard and post from July 13th in this thread about that fight.
I gave Canelo rounds 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9.
I gave Lara rounds 1, 3, 6, 10, 11, and 12.
Lara COULD'VE won that fight, but no way was he gonna win a close fight like that over Canelo. He was doing good boxing and moving, but Canelo's worth > Lara's so that wasnt gonna work

I had it a draw at 114-114......and I gave all the close rounds to Canelo
Lara should've stood and traded a little bit more, because when he did, he was landing cleaner and sharper.
Canelo should've cut off the ring a little more and stop letting Lara stick and move so much.
I was more impressed with Lara in this fight, but Canelo body work was excellent. Close fight, but at BEST I had it a draw while giving Canelo all the close rounds and the benefit of the doubt. I can see Lara or anyone else giving him the fight's point of view.

Why are people still talking about that fight? It sucked and Lara's ass is back to Friday night Showtime events in front of 500 people. He had a chance to advance his career in a big way and blew it.
