The only reason I would be concerned for Bhop is the Murat fight

Murat landed a good amount of punches N had him on the ropes made Hopkins work

If Kovalev can do that its goin be interesting

For bhop

I know bhop is special and like no other but he does get hit for the most part, I've seen.. He does a good job at dodging the big ones for the most part, maybe he sees them coming?.. Guys like pascal(Berto jr?) or even most fighters power punches are loops.. Kovalev seems to throw power punches that look like regular punches.

I don't think kovalev will have much problem with Bernard's upper body movement, I see kovalev just walking him down and punching him.. To me Bernard will have to throw that right hand or whatever punch and it must be strong enough to keep him off him. ALso lots of punching and grab

Am I totally off base here?

I dunno, that is why this fight is so great. Kovalev has the power to hurt Hopkins, I dont doubt that. But can he land it?
Kovalev doesnt have GGG's footwork to stalk a fighter or Maidana's speed to launch flurries. This is what gives me pause. Kovalev has power in every punch he throws, but i am not sure he has the skill to set his offense up. Bernard will see it coming.
Bernard isnt a spring chicken and he can be pressured and outhustled. Kovalev gets tired easy, though.

Forget haters complaining that Bernard is 49 or the questions of people thinking Kovalev is legit or not. This fight is INTERESTING!

I think Kovalev is going to have a difficult time with B Hop in general, and I don't think any of that will be due to him not being able to throw the punches he wants to
