"In fact, I wanted the fight to be at 147. I wanted to fight for a true welterweight title. The catchweight was on their side 100%," Algieri explained during a recent conversation with FightHype.com. "I'm a boxing purist. I wanted to fight for a welterweight title at 147 pounds because that's what a welterweight is. They would not budge on that."

:snoop: Force catch weights on c class fighters breh

@ChocolateGiddyUp you say haymon makes the fights but i thought it was well known that if you ask haymon for a big fight he will try make it for you.

imo garcia doesnt mind stacking his ps vs weak opp and not looking for legacy wins, he deserves the criticism

Nobody forced Postol to take step aside money he's jus as to blame as Team Swift

How many 30+ yr old undefeated fighters says you know what I'm cool on my title shot right now

As far as nobody wants to see the Peterson fight...nikkas in here was furious Swift said Lamont does nothing for him...damned if you do damned if you don't

Haymon been on bullshyt this year N Swift said hell fight PAC doubt it gets made is that his fault..There are no more legacy fights at 140 that's why he needs to gtfo of there already but Haymon wants him there to have control over them belts...he's loyal Haymon soldier to a fault

I'm saying breh we gotta offset this blatant ass dikkriding by the media

HBO is spending money building him up. They buying everyone. Max seemed like he wanted to press GGG but I could see Letterman face when Max went back to the booth. He was all :beli: meanwhile Ward getting slandered left and right even though they know he's in a bad situation. Ward should put out a hit list and say those dudes will either fight or duck me

Putting out a list ain't going to do nothing.
