I already explained why it would happen. Garcia is gonna vacate the title...he's not fighting Viktor Postol, which means Viktor Postol and Lucas Matthysse will be scheduled to fight for the WBC Junior Welterweight Championship.

AB is ranked #3, Dulorme is #4 but TR so he's not relevant to AB, but Soto is ranked #5 and available. AB fights Soto, will beat him, and immediately moves up to #1 by the WBC and mandatory challenger to the winner of Matthysse/Postol.

Im not HAPPY about the fight, but it makes sense, because it's the closest we can get to a fight for the belt.

Algieri is fighting in November, so he's not an option...plus he's TR. Peterson is big bro...not an option.

Danny Garcia will have to vacate the WBA belt as well, but Mauricio Herrera immediately becomes the Champion and Thomas Dulorme becomes the mandatory for that one. Soto is the best route to take at this point



Matthysse is gonna fight Viktor Postol once Garcia lets that WBC belt go.





Beating an old Zab Judah aint gonna get AB a title shot. Beating Soto will.

my friend who has a source inside Roc Nation told me that they plan to bid for the Garcia Postol fight, they are trying to bring fights to the Barclays.

I think Garcia will be dropping that WBC belt unless Haymon lets him fight. Roc Nation are not going away

Isn't there going to be a purse bid for the Wilder/Stiverne heavyweight title bout coming up soon? I would think Jay Z would be all over that one.

I would think if Jay wins the Stiverne/Wilder purse bid there would be no Haymon fukkery because the desire to get his hands on a piece of the heavyweight title would be worth more than fukking over Jay Z.
