Soto looked better than I expected against Molina. A fight with Broner would be entertaining, but we all know the names should be shuffled again on that card so that the bigger names are facing each other.

But then when he's matched against Humberto Soto, who's ranked #5 by the WBC and ranked #9 by the IBF, who is also 22-1 in his last 23 fights (including putting the beats on bum ass John Molina Jr who yall was JUST hyping up), it's a bad matchup

Lucas Matthysse is ranked #2 by the WBC and is looking to take on Danny Garcia with or without the belt in his next fight or, if Danny vacates and goes up to 147 as expected, Lucas Matthysse will be fighting Viktor Postol for the vacant WBC Championship in his next fight.
Adrien Broner is ranked #3 by the WBC and called out Matthysse. But with Matthysse having other plans, he needs to look into another opponent (plus Al Haymon is not keen on his fighters fighting each other as you see with Garcia/Peterson and many other cases)
Thomas Dulorme is ranked #4 by the WBC and is a TR fighter. Not an option.

I already explained why it would happen. Garcia is gonna vacate the title...he's not fighting Viktor Postol, which means Viktor Postol and Lucas Matthysse will be scheduled to fight for the WBC Junior Welterweight Championship.
AB is ranked #3, Dulorme is #4 but TR so he's not relevant to AB, but Soto is ranked #5 and available. AB fights Soto, will beat him, and immediately moves up to #1 by the WBC and mandatory challenger to the winner of Matthysse/Postol.
Im not HAPPY about the fight, but it makes sense, because it's the closest we can get to a fight for the belt.
Algieri is fighting in November, so he's not an option...plus he's TR. Peterson is big bro...not an option.
Danny Garcia will have to vacate the WBA belt as well, but Mauricio Herrera immediately becomes the Champion and Thomas Dulorme becomes the mandatory for that one. Soto is the best route to take at this point
