Exactly how I feel about him.

He shows flashes of greatness but he just has to increase his consistency.

He's a "Problem" for anyone at 140. Nobody should be considered a definite favorite over him IMO

Garcia, Matthysse, Postol, Vargas, and Algieri I would definitely favor over him right now....... some other guys too, but with not as much confidence

@LauderdaleBoss....yeah, he was getting caught with some shots, but he was able to catch alot of em with his gloves or soften the impact by letting them hit half his gloves.

I did like the fact he threw the "shoulder roll" into the bushes for this fight. It allowed him to let his hands go more and block those overhand rights Taylor was trying to land.

Really good fight. Even Paulie "The AB Hater" Malignaggi was giving props talking about how high his inside fighting skills were and the subtle techniques Broner was using claiming the fight as his (Paulie's) FOTY so far.

It was a great all action fight from Round 1 through 12.

Well, he was mad on point last night. AB's flaws, what he does right, everything....he was breaking it down

Watching Matthysse post fight interview and he says he wants to fight Garcia first in a rematch then Adrien Broner. Says that Garcia had a "lot of luck" in the 1st fight and he deserves another opportunity to fight Garcia.


I don't think it was luck, just Garcia cracked him and Matthysse corner wasn't prepared to deal with the swelling. I thought Garcia earned that victory clean.

The "luck" aspect has to be fighter speak. Garcia beat him fair and square. I had it 7-5, plus a KD for Garcia.
Garcia owes Herrera a rematch, not Matthysse. But no one, not even #SwiftSet can deny that still the most exciting and most entertaining fight at 140 is still a rematch of Matthysse.
Garcia won the first legit...but I still think a rematch is a 50/50 fight.
