Let's say Manny took a 50/50 split with Floyd on a 100 mill guaranteed fight. Pac would get 50 million right? His split at 50% would be 50 million.

Arum gets a 27% cut of what Manny gets which is 13.5 million. That leaves Pac with 36.5 million after Arum's cut ( Arum gets 27% of Manny's purse and Manny keeps the other 73%)

If you take the totals, raw, Manny would have 36.5 million after paying his promoter. That's a total take home of 36.5% of the 100 million guaranteed for Manny vs Floyd.....not 23%.

Thats not how you would determine a split...

If Arum's cut from pac is 27% you wouldn't subtract 27 from 50 to determine Pac's cut.. you would multiply 0.27 to whatever Pacquiao's guaranteed purse is

So if Pacs purse is $40 million.. Arum would only get $10.8 million... And if Pac and Floyd were to co promote the promotional costs would be split in half.. Pac would only have to give up 5.4 million to Arum, While Floyd and his camp would cover the other half...
