well, I have seen this kind of fight before. where a puncher is overhyped and he comes in and either doesnt have or doesnt use the boxing skills. meanwhile, the other fighter puts together a game plan and simply uses boxing 101. the puncher comes out and tries to get the boxer out of there and in the process shows some flaws and possibly even punching himself out. he simply gets broken down round by round and eventually stopped. another scenario is...LM is so in love with his power and doesnt respect Danny's power enough that he walks into something he cant recover from.
they are both young fighters. so the danger is there for LM just like it is for Danny. Danny can crack. where Danny can have success is....pin that right to his face and be ready to counter. he can get Lucas out of there....he just has to be smart about it. I think he will be.
all in all...Danny is the most studious of the two. Styles make fights and not saying just because such and such beat so and so that equals a win...but.... If Zab was mid-terms then Danny passed his and Lucas failed.
I have no idea what you guys see in danny's power....that's prolly the most overrated thing about that mufukka...he blew away a chinny khan and a faded morales after failing the first time around..big whoop
He has heavy hands for sure then those swings will fukk a man up..LM's pressure and punching from every angle will play a part in breaking down danny..Come fight night i will be quoting and dapping motherfukkas; left, right and centre.I have no idea what you guys see in danny's power....that's prolly the most overrated thing about that mufukka...he blew away a chinny khan and a faded morales after failing the first time around..big whoop

Got Damn I love the heavyweight division right now.......The fight isn’t a done deal yet but a good-looking heavyweight bout between former title challenger Cristobal Arreola and Seth Mitchell is nearly finalized.
Assuming the deal is done -- and both fighters are supposedly already in training for the bout -- it will take place Sept. 6 at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif. Showtime is expected to broadcast the fight.
“Both guys are willing to fight each other and we’re trying to get everything done,” Eric Gomez, matchmaker for Mitchell promoter Golden Boy, told ESPN.com. “It’s an exciting fight because these guys will go at it.”
They are both excellent punchers and generally mix it up in their fights. It’s the kind of fight that will boost the winner big-time and really damage the future prospects for the loser.
Arreola (35-3, 30 KOs), 32, of Riverside, Calif., fought for a world title in 2009, getting stopped in the 10th round by Vitali Klitschko.
Arreola is also coming off a unanimous decision loss to Bermane Stiverne in April. That was a world title eliminator for the right to fight Klitschko. But Stiverne dropped Arreola and badly broke his nose in the third round. Somehow, Arreola was able to make it to the final bell. However, he was not really in the fight after that round. He needed surgery on his nose after the fight.
Mitchell (26-1-1, 19 KOs), 31, of Brandywine, Md., was a late starter to boxing after turning to the sport when a knee injury wrecked his pro football chances after playing linebacker for Michigan State. He was viewed by many as a future title challenger until he ran into Johnathon Banks, a big underdog who dropped him three times and knocked him out in the second round in November. Mitchell avenged the loss on June 22, winning a unanimous decision in a very cautious performance.
“We’re working to get this fight done,” said Dan Goossen, Arreola’s promoter. “It’s a great fight for both fighters and I think it’s a great fight fans’ fight. They’ll both come at each other. Fans really love the heavyweights, especially ones that like to get in there and bang with one another.”
Goossen said Arreola’s nose is just fine now.
“He’s breathing well. He’s fine,” he said. “He had a little surgery on it and a few weeks later he was good to go.”
I recall an interview from Bro Naseem Richardson where he spoke about danny in high regards; danny been knocking down middleweights in sparring sessions and has natural brute power etc. The interview was right after the danny win against khan.
Golden Boy will feature two-division titlewinner Rafael Marquez, heavyweight contender Seth Mitchell and welterweight stalwart Josesito Lopez among those in a Showtime-televised tripleheader on Sept. 6 at the Fantasy Sports Casino in Indio, Calif., according to Sharif Salim, Mitchell's manager.
"Seth Mitchell, ranked No. 2 in the world by the WBC, will be facing Chris Arreola, ranked No. 3 in the world, in the main event at Fantasy Springs in Indio, Calif., on Sept. 6," said Salim.
"Rafael Marquez and Josesito Lopez are in fights that are the co-main event. They're also on the card. But the main event is Seth Mitchell against Chris Arreola...in a 12-rounder."
Coming off last month's unanimous decision over Johnathon Banks that avenged a second-round stoppage loss in November, Mitchell (26-1-1, 19 knockouts) will face Arreola (35-3, 30 KOs), who had surgery in May to repair a broken nose suffered during April's unanimous-decision loss to Bermane Stiverne.
"I think that it promises to be one of the banner fights of the year. Two heavyweights who are highly ranked and highly talented and who bring a lot of action," said Salim.
"So it's going to be a pretty good fight. There are several belts on the line, and the possibility of getting closer to a championship fight. We're looking forward to it with unlimited enthusiasm."
A 38-year-old who signed with Golden Boy earlier this month, Marquez (41-8, 37 KOS) will end what will be an 11-month ring absence against Efrain Esquivias (16-2-1, 9 KOs) in a featherweight bout, according to Boxrec.com.
Lopez (30-5, 18 KOs) will attempt to rebound from last month's sixth-round knockout at the hands of Marcos Maidana opposite Aaron Martinez (19-2-1, 4 KOs), according to Boxrec.com.
Good shyt brehKoki Eto just went into Thailand and won the WBA interim Flyweight title against former Adrian Hernandez conqueror Kompayak Porpamook...
All I was able to see was the 12th round, and it was a slug fest, Eto got a knockdown which from what I'm hearing won him the fight 114-113 114-113 and 116-111
Kameda coming soon......if I find a stream I'll post it here
Naw not switching over..just going with my gut feelings with that fight. If Lucas wins then ill be Moonwalking all over this thread...lol
