I am tired of people saying Zab is shot. He has as much physically as FMJ has left in the tank. Outside of losing some of his speed (still fast as hell)...thats really about it. He is the same fighter he has always been. He may be a lil more focused in the ring these days than when he was younger and he is not as wild. Other than that...he is the same fighter with the same strengths and weaknesses (speed, defense, hands dont stay busy, over cautious when concerning his chin). That was a quality win for Garcia.

The Morales wins didnt impress me. The Khan fight gave him confidence and was a quality win. The Zab win looks great because Matthysse lost to him and it wasnt a robbery.

Zab been shot since Tszyu sparked him, you dont go from being undisputed undefeated champs to losing to 10+ loss journeyman without being shot

Umm he's coming off multiple surgeries, rehab for those surgeries, and has been out of the ring for a year at the age of 38 and you dont think he needs a tune-up to work off ring rust and see how his injuries healed???

He broke his hand during the Murray fight and then his camp said he was going to need a second knee surgery so it would be insane for him not to have a tune-up fight after he gets healthy before stepping into the ring with a quality opponent just to get the rust off after being out of boxing for nearly a year.

If he had any sense he would... you don't just jump back into the ring with a top flight opponent after an extended time of inactivity especially when that inactivity wsa due to an injury.
