I used 12 for bag and 16 for sparring.
Gym didn't allow you spar hard in anything but 16s which is pretty standard for most places I think,
if plant had got stopped by benavidez it would have been PBC's best PPV offering ever....gotdamn bayless fukking it up

About a decade ago I left a pair of 8oz on the side of the ring (was changing gloves and had only just warmed up with them.)
Upcoming sparring opponent got in the ring to warm up and spotted them. Gave me the -

Next time a boxer comes in the ring to call out the winning boxer during the post fight interview I wanna see the winning boxer say "we can do it right here, right now"
