one of floyd's most vicious offensive performances

vic def deserves to be in the HOF...that man was a killer at 112 and 115

He's not even in the top 5 conversations for all time Australian boxers in the media either, damn shame. Never gets mentioned.

That left hand was really something else, threw it like he had a bag of marbles in his palm.

Seriously...he was aggression and power personified...never forget that one fight where he almost killed somebody in the ring after an extended beating..poor guy got a brain injury or something

yea, but his comeback was horrible Never recovered from Nonito KO. And stayed defiant w/ the loss rather than improve

Yeah I remember that, he had such a one armed, brawler sort of style, quite interesting, worked very well as a southpaw obviously.

Darchinyan had that great ability to be able really sit into that back foot and just shoot from the hip with the left, yet still stay weighted somewhat and out of danger and bounce back out of harms way.

It sounds easy enough, but in my experience the more proficient the lead hand gets, the less and less fighters are able to do it to this level (sit weighted like that off the back foot completely, but still have power, not just a back foot defensive fighter.)

It has something to do with the relationship between the hip, adductor and ql muscle on each side of body.

Vic was that dude. Was always going to put on a show.

But Flash ruined him and Walters made it worse. Surprised he was able to bounce back and give it another push.

After the first KO? dude went to 115 and damn near almost went undisputed
IUf I recall correctly he nebver beat someone worthy of a name; Abner Mares beat him; he lost to Nonito in a better fight than the ko loss but lost to every top fighter. Agbeko as well
