In this last act of Errol’s career, if it’s going to be sustained, he has to become a fighter that is a legit threat to counter you. He can’t be a “you punch, I punch” fighter anymore. He has to be able to evade a shot and immediately transition to offense. I’m not saying he has to become a master counter puncher. That isn’t going to happen, but he has to be able to make his opponents think about throwing punches. If he can do that, he can beat Fundora. Whoever his new trainer is will have their work cut out for them.
