How the hell Spence get this shot, never having fought at at 154 and coming off a loss?? He should be fighting a Brian Castano type first.

Spence will be going into the fight on a 15 month layoff. Coming off a brutal beating. His punch resistance probably gonna be even worse. Fundora went toe to toe with lubin who's a much bigger puncher than Spence and he got a solid chin. It's gonna be a close fight. I could see it going either way. Spence gotta use his speed and athleticism to keep fundora from sitting down on his punches.Call me crazy, but I got Spence beating Fundora convincingly
But at some point the shyt will turn into a brawl. Cause Spence won't be able to resist and his defense is trash. If he can catch Spence at the end of one of them long ass punches he might just put him out for good.
I like Spence but I don't know if this is a good idea honestly. I hope he pulls it off, but if I have $100 I have to put it on Fundora. The optics just ain't looking good

Its the biggest fight at 154 as Spence would be able to get his redemption arc if he can snag the WBC and IBF. Jermell is still a wild card for both since Bud and Mell is a grudge match and Spence vs Mell could be big and the DJ stuff isnt there anymore
Chris Algeria made a great point that folks forget Spence is an olympian and a damn good boxer but got away from it and got on some terminator shyt lol. Spence is lightyears better than Fundora so in theory it should he easy work with how Tim was getting in his ass pre head injury. The real question as its been stated is Errols punch resistence and if he is damaged goods. Even 154 will be an effort to make weight as Floyd mentioned and i agree Errol at this stage should be at 160/168 but staying at 147 all these years he stunted his growth and time to fill out during his prime years

I can see Spence losing this fight pretty easily. He had a helluva time getting passed Crawford's jab (best fighter in the world with an educated jab) & now he's gonna face a 6'5 guy that showed he can fight behind his own long jab if necessary. This could be a lopsided fight if Fundora doesn't get clipped but we'll have to see if Spence's power even translates to 54 & what he has left

Tim is also a conventional YOUNGER fighter that hasn't taken a beating who's in his physical prime. Some of you Spence guys really need to look at this
We already called out the issue with spence is punch resistance and not talent. In no universe is Fundora on the same skill level as Spence

It doesn't matter. Spence had those 2 car accidents & a career altering beating from Crawford. He was never a defensive wizard & has been in some wars plus, when you factor all those things in with his age, it's not looking good for him. I'm not saying he can't win, but the odds aren't looking good for him

Bud's combination punching was so ridiculous...spence didnt even have a chance to do those strange things he did in the danny and ugas fights
