Canelo might be looking to fight Benavidez in Saudi Arabia like rumors have been circulating - it makes total sense.

50 million guarantee for Caleb Plant but only 55 million for Benavidez? The biggest fight the sport has to offer?? Only 5 million more? :gucci:

Nah, I’d prolly wait for these 2 showtime fights to finish up as well and then head to Saudi Arabia for that wild pay day against David. :obama:

I think Monster beats them all imo. I wonder which one gives him the most hell though. Chocolaito got the volume, King Sor got the power, Estrada more versatile. Monster just DIFFERENT tho :wow:
king sor had the power but too slow of foot...estrada has some leaky ass defense and chinny moments...chocolatito would have given monster a good fight

of course we thank king sor as the sole reason why monster vs chocolatito never happened lol

Ishe is just mad his own career didn't turn out how he wanted

And yall can clown K9 all you want but at least he doesn't wine and complain all day like some of these other cats. Did what he had to do/made his mark in the ring too even with being done dirty by the boxing game. Ishe should take a page out of his book and build his brand outside of boxing. That's my dawg in real life :myman:. Ultimate hustler/using what's available like most Detroit brehs are.

Facts
Ishe comes off mad bitter when someone of his caliber doesn't always win a world title. nikka don't sound grateful for shyt.

I mean don't get me wrong, some of the shyt he saying about Floyd is valid, but the venom behind it is really unnecessary. K9 definitely more humble and did more with less.

Shakur has all them skills, but the one thing Martin has that Shakur lacks is grit.

Dude digs deeps when fighting nikkas his level or above. Like you can count on him to raise his game or at least try harder when he needs to. We already seen what Shakur made off when the going gets tough. Just wait until he meets a nikka that cuts off the ring on him or has prime Hatton footwork. It might be a wrap.

Tank vs Martin is a good fight. Shakur vs Martin is a fight that we hoped would be good. That's the difference.

Junto Nakatani (26-0, 19KOs) and Alexandro Santiago (28-3-5, 14KOs) both made weight ahead of Santiago first WBC bantamweight title defense in Tokyo, Japan, a crown he won by defeating Nonito Donaire last year in Las Vegas.

Nakatani challenges Santiago, aiming to become a three-weight world champion after previous title reigns holding the WBO’s flyweight and super flyweight titles.

Nakatani took to the scales first and weighed in at 117.5 lbs while Santiago weighed in second and came in also under the weight limit at 117.75 lbs.

Chief support to the main event, Takuma Inoue (18-1, 4KOs), defends his title against former long-reigning IBF super flyweight champion Jerwin Ancajas (34-3-2, 23KOs) with the fight between the pairing serving as Inoue’s first defense of his WBA bantamweight title.

Both fighters made the weight, each tipping the scales at 117.75lbs.

Former WBO three-weight champion Kosei Tanaka (19-1, 11KOs) faces Christian Bacasegua Rangel (22-4-2, 9KOs) in a fight for the vacant WBO super flyweight title.

Both Tanaka and Rangel weighed the same at 114.7 lbs.

I was never high on Martin. Used to bother me that a lot of dudes IN HERE would try to throw him in the same group as Haney and Stevenson. I just never said much. Then he struggled with Harutyunyan and that's when I knew he wasn't that good.

I don't think much of Davis and I think even less of Martin, so this fight does absolutely nothing for me. I'll buy it because I buy PPVs but it's really nothing to get excited about.

I’m sure a year from now Haney will be fighting Martin N you’ll be telling us how it makes sense N it’s a good fight… but Tank still hasn’t fought anyone …history here likes to repeat itself :russ:

What Haney got to do with this cuh? Unless you're admitting Haney's the superior fighter.... :sas1:

I actually like Haney as a fighter … try again friend:mjgrin:

I just like to keep things consistent around here since so many of you lack accountability :hhh:

Do you think it’s a surprise that nikkas here had the Pom poms ready to go for Shakur v Martin … but now that it’s Tank v Martin it’s mid?? :heh:

Whether or not you like Haney is completely inconsequential to this conversation my brotha :heh: . You brought him up for nothing.

I have no problem at all talking about how much I dislike Davis. I think he's a great talent and probably one of the smartest fighters in the game. But as a fan of the fight game, he's been managed poorly. I don't know who's at fault for it. Is it him? Is it Floyd and Leonard? I honestly don't know.

But again, and I can only speak for MYSELF. I don't think highly of Martin or Davis. So I didn't think really care one way another about a fight between Martin and Stevenson.

It looks good on paper for both Davis and Stevenson because Martin is fairly well known in the division but if that fight with Artem showed us anything, it's that's he's a great athlete but still doesn't have the skillset to match guys like Davis or Stevenson.

Subriel Matias Promises To Knockout & Retire Teofimo Lopez, Says Haney Runs Like A Chicken

Subriel Matias made sizzling statements during a Matchroom Boxing press conference Friday introducing the IBF junior welterweight champion as its latest star signee.
After fighting for several years on PBC shows, the knockout artist Matias (20-1, 20 KOs) signed a multi-fight deal with Eddie Hearn earlier this month.
Matias is slated to next fight in June in his native country of Puerto Rico. Australia's Liam Paro (24-0, 15 KOs) – who knocked out Montana Love in December – has been leading the conversation as a possible next opponent for Matias.
Before his next fight is announced, Matias made sure that the boxing public recognized him as the best junior welterweight in the world – all while taking shots at the division’s current champions.
"I'm here. You're watching the best 140-pound fighter in the world," said Matias. "I feel like I am going to go and destroy my opponents, and that is what I want to do in the future. I'm really confident in my abilities. All I need is the opportunity, and I think people are going to see that opportunity now.
"My security and confidence in myself can be considered arrogant at times, but if we're talking about other fighters like Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney, and I won't even talk about Rolando Romero because he's a comedian, I will face any opponent that is put in front of me. I will knock out and retire Lopez. And Haney, I don't know, because he runs like a chicken.”
The hard-hitting 31-year-old Matias last fought in November and dominated Shohjahon Ergashev. The stoppage win was the fifth fight in a row in which Matias forced a fighter to quit as well as the first defense of his title.
The five-fight winning streak also started after Matias’ first career loss to Petros Ananyan in 2020 via unanimous decision, a defeat he has since avenged with a stoppage win against Ananyan in 2022.
Hearn is particularly bullish on the star he’s signed.
“We've wanted to sign Subriel for a long time and now the time has come," said Hearn. "In my opinion, he's one of the most exciting and dangerous pound-for-pound fighters on the planet. He's already a world champion, so people don't have an excuse not to fight him. He wants all the smoke, and all of the big names in the division."
Matias’ Puerto Rican promoter Juan Orengo of Fresh Productions said they’ve been struggling to secure premier fighters to face him, but that should all be coming to an end soon.
“He's already a big name but he wants to be even bigger,” said Orengo.
