If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
Canelo did not fight in the aggressive coming forward behind a high guard style he does now when he fought Floyd. He tried to outbox Floyd. He’s not going to try to outbox Crawford. He also had less power at that 152 catchweight than he does at 168. He was not breaking faces and shyt back then.

Against Bivol, he certainly felt his power. He even said so. I will link below. Bivol can punch. He’s just a dude without another gear to get you outta there.

I’m sorry, but this is real life. This is not a Rocky movie or some shyt. This isn’t the olden days. Crawford is not Henry Armstrong. He’s not going to move up 21 pounds at 37 years old, fight a dude who would be by far the hardest puncher he’s faced, who is going to come to beat him up, in a weight he’s never fought at and foot feint his way to victory. He’s going to feel Canelo’s power, realize he can’t hurt him, and go into survival mode.

Crawford is a really good fighter, but that victory over Spence (a dude his team says he was prepping for years) got dudes talking/thinking CRAZY. Like, Crawford is the greatest fighter of all times or some shyt :pachaha:. Dude went from underrated to overrated after one fight. I don’t have to rehash the history. shyt is wild.

That fight would be 1000000% a waste of time. Canelo needs to fight David.

“He’s a really good fighter and he comes in and goes out,” Alvarez said. “I also felt his power. I have no excuses. It was his style, [not the weight]. You win and you lose in this sport. That’s what happens.”

Did Floyd Mayweather need power to stop Canelo from coming forward? Was his lack of ability to hurt Canelo prevent him from winning the fight?
When Bivol dominated Canelo, did he hurt him at all?

Alot of people for some reason have the wrong mindset when discussing elite boxers with elite footwork. And Crawford is in that category

I remember when ya'll dudes was saying Canelo was scared to fight black fighters. Now he fighting nikkas and it's a problem.

My only thing is he should be in there with David but the big name fights take forever to make in boxing for whatever reason.

I hope these rumored Canelo fights are a joke :snoop:.

Charlo is at least the same size as Canelo so he has somewhat of a chance despite hella inactivity. The Crawford shyt is absurd. There’s no point in that fight. Negroes literally just watched this same shyt play out a few months ago with a bigger inactive dude moving up in weight, and immediately realized he had no chance of winning once the fight started. I knew he had no chance when they announced that bullshyt fight. Crawford has ZERO chance of beating Canelo.

Crawford is going to have ZERO power to stop Canelo coming forward at 160 fukking 8 pounds. He’s going to be on his bike as soon as he catches one of those haymakers to the shoulders.

Naw, this shyt ain’t true. It can’t be :sadcam:. I know boxing fans are lowkey insane, but naw—there’s no way people would support another Canelo special, right? Right?

It has to be Benavidez soon, innit?

Breh, if you can find me saying Canelo is scared to fight black fighters, I’ll never post in this forum again, and I’ll Cashapp you $100.

I’m in the #canelocartel. I’m just not a dikk rider irrespective if I like the fighter or not—which separates me from most boxing fans. I call a spade a spade. I don’t have a super agenda to prop up dudes I like. Additionally, I’d never say some shyt like that :mjlol:, because it obviously was an untruth.

With that being said, if these are his two fights this year, he’s CLEARLY ducking David, right?

I don't think Canelo has any reason to duck David. If he lost his fans would still love him and support his fights imo. I don't think these boxers are ducking and scary as fans like to paint them out to be (with a few exceptions like Chris Colbert dude didn't want to rematch Jose Valenzuela).

That’s different re Mayweather / Canelo.

They were the same weight class, and Canelo was much leaner then.

Alvarez has been at 168-175 for 5+ years now, he’s big for 168, not so much for 175.

Crawford has been at 147 for 5 years, but never fought at 154, let alone 160, or 168, or even 175.

Once again, a stupid fight, that makes a mockery of the sport.

I highly doubt it happens tbh. Just too much of a weight difference, I hate that boxing has come to this buffoonery.

I think the benavidez fight has to be easier to make than bud. Canelo is the a-side against anyone but Crawford at least has options and has made some money so could walk away from the fight and still fight someone else for a nice amount of money. What options does benavidez have that could make anywhere near as much as a canelo fight? He'd probably take 80/20

Fighting mall is a really bad look after he just completely dominated mall's more dangerous, more accomplished twin and had mell clutching at moral victories talking about least he survived 12 rounds. If he fought mall first and then mell it could be justified a bit more but now it's like beating David benavidez then fighting his little, one foot brother afterwards - why bother?

Narrative? Fighting European fighters for years. Fought Danny Jacobs and smaller Black fighters and now ultra inactive fighters. He's a joke. He don't fight anyone at their best. Smoke and mirrors. Huge phony. Waiting 8 years to fight Black fighters and the one he did fight was 2 weight classes under...these little Mexican posters around her mental nutcases..acting like they boxing fans. Full of $hit. Midgets don't know what what the fukk they talking about. He ain't fighting Morell..someone his own size in his division. Weak.

Crawford ain't no big draw. Tim Tyzu, that rematch, and maybe the Jernell fight. That's it. Those are his top options...
Benavidez would take 80/20..Canelo is so scared he wouldn't offer that. Lol.

It's not bufoonery. He's just not amazing enough to pull it off. Roy Jones was.

Canelo was definitely trying to walk Mayweather down all fight with his 20 lb weight advantage. Floyd stood in front of him..made him miss and hit him at will .Canelo just wasn't good enough to adapt. His head movement was very good by 2016 pre GGG fight but that's been the difference and he ain't ever knocked out an elite fighter. He's never beat one. A big fraud. Looked great against those Euro guys who struggled in the fights right before facing him..even the first GGG fight got delayed by two years.
