crawford vs spence isnt a fight of the year...shyt wasnt competitive...and i posted a tweet for fight of the years on TR breh
the lead up, anticipation and ring walks was the making of the FOTY and Decade, lol..
it was a pure slaughterhouse..maybe for that reason people call it the fight or destruction of the year!

if Canelo was only bigger, one of my dream matches

Canelo with his sound, great pressure style vs Beterbiev who is a fukkin monster but vulnerable at times

Murtazaliev-Culcay: Vacant IBF Junior Middleweight Title Fight Heads To Purse Bid

The teams for Bakhram Murtazaliev and Jack Culcay will wait until the new year for instructions on next steps.
BoxingScene.com has confirmed that the ordered vacant IBF junior middleweight title fight will head to a purse bid hearing. The development comes one day after the sanctioning body-imposed deadline passed without a deal in place following a negotiation period of more than 30 days.
The only remaining issue at the moment, however, is when an actual date will be scheduled. Boxing Scene has learned that neither side has heard from the IBF, though likely due to the Friday deadline preceding a holiday weekend.
Russia’s Murtazaliev is promoted by Main Events and managed by Egis Klimas. Germany’s Culcay is promoted by AGON Sports, whose company has a history of sending fights to—and winning—purse bid hearings.
As Boxing Scene previously reported, both parties were prepared to enter talks for such a fight as the likelihood increased that Charlo (35-2-1, 19KOs) would vacate his title. Murtazaliev was the mandatory challenger since November 2019 but was offered a step-aside package multiple times to allow Charlo to further unify the divisional titles and pursue more lucrative fights.
Charlo ran out of exceptions after his failed bid versus undisputed super middleweight champion Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez (60-2-2, 39KOs) on September 30 in Las Vegas. The fight already cost him the WBO 154-pound title, which he had to give up the moment he entered the ring for the Showtime Pay-Per-View event. The WBO agreed to acknowledge him as the undisputed champion until the pre-fight introductions, at which point Tim Tszyu (23-0, 16KOs) was elevated from interim to full WBO titleholder.
Charlo still holds the WBC and WBA titles.
Murtazaliev (22-0, 15KOs) became the mandatory after a November 2019 win over Jorge Fortea in their title eliminator. He has since fought four times, all buried on Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) non-televised undercards and versus non-descript competition.
Culcay (33-4, 14KOs) has won eight in a row since his return to the junior middleweight division.
The former interim titlist and full title challenger lost to Demetrius Andrade in their March 2017 vacant WBA junior middleweight title fight. A loss to then-unbeaten Maciej Sulecki seven months later sent Culcay to the middleweight division, where he won three in a row before a twelve-round loss to Sergiy Derevyanchenkon in their April 2019 IBF middleweight title eliminator in Minneapolis.
A return to 154 and to Germany has seen Culcay resurface atop the IBF rankings, though mostly versus middling opposition.
Whoever lands the rights to the fight and where they choose to stage it is of less concern to the Murtazaliev side than when it takes place. Murtazaliev is a devout Muslim and eager to fight for his first major title by no later than March 9, prior to Ramadan which is observed from March 10-April 9 in the coming year.

"Bu bu bu bu Terence Crawford can't be fighter of the year because he only fought once this year"

Maybe Bud would have fought more than once this year if the rematch was in December like it was planned, but had to be postponed because Bud dominated Spence so easily

Just a thought

Teo humbled all the haters with that performance. NOBODY picked him to win. Not one person in that Ring magazine prediction article had him winning and there as like 40 of them. Hard to disagree with this as performance of the year.

Teo is easily the best of the 135/140 division and it's not even close. But what turns people off is his personality

The irony is that Teo is what people think Haney is. The media/fans gravitate to Haney because he's 100x more likable

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
is it oochie wally or is it one mic?

nikkas spent years saying Spence was ass, PBC hiding him, 147 weak as fukk, etc etc so why does beating someone overrated grant you Fighter of the year? You did what you were supposed to do which is crush someone who is a hype job.
It's oochie wally. Bud did infact beat a hype job.. It just took that severe ass whipping for people to wake up to the fact that all those PBC welterweights were overrated AF.. Im not mad at Inoue getting it over him.. Wish they had another category calling Exposal of the year or Ass whooping of the year.. Bud wins hands down

Haney may not be likeable bruh

Cuz you really hate him :mjlol:

I don't "hate" Devin Haney. But this is the era we live in. Any criticism is considered hate

What I don't like is young fighters being rushed into a position where they are put in P4P #1 lists before they are ready at ruins their career. Let them grow, let them make mistakes. Because one bad loss can fukk up their confidence and ruin their career. Ya'll fans don't even care about him. Ya'll want him to be thrown in the Lions den for ya'll enjoyment. All these people gassing him up too much can lead him into a cherry pick gone wrong

Shakur Stevenson is easily my favorite of the 135/140. But you don't see me over here trying to dikkride him 24/7. If he had a bad performance, I'll be right here critiquing him on what he should have done. If people try to push him into fights he's not ready for, I'll be the first to be like fukk that, fight someone else

Let these young dudes grow at their own pace
