I'm not going to lie like I've watched all his fights I know the last 3 just exchanged
Yeah... That's not entirely true. Browne started off tryna box and had some success. Beast just wore him down.

Beast can box cuh. He's not just a slugger. He knows what punch to throw, how to throw, and when to throw it. And most importantly, he knows how to cut off the ring. When a fighter knows how to cut off the ring and hits hard, that's a scary muhfukka.

That's exactly why I told him to watch The Gvozdyk fight. It was a savage systematic breakdown where he wore him out mentally & physically. And against someone who came to "box' like Bivol would

Teo humbled all the haters with that performance. NOBODY picked him to win. Not one person in that Ring magazine prediction article had him winning and there as like 40 of them. Hard to disagree with this as performance of the year.

Subriel Matias v Ergashev could low key be the most impressive peformance this year.

Boxing industry sorta sleeping on how impressive he is.

5 on the stool stoppages, one death 💀. Matias sorta re inventing pressure fighting in front of our eyes imo.
what do you think about his footwork?

Maybe if you pulled his dikk out of your mouth you'd have an easier time

Nah... Performance of the year is Bud. No way around it. That was supposed to be a 50/50 fight apparently and it turned into a slaughter from the 2nd round until Dock called it.

Gvozdyk doesn't have the physical strength or endurance of Bivol, and Bivol can actually sit down on his punches.

Gvozdyk had a good fight, but was utterly afraid to sit down on anything.

Bivol does not punch as hard as The Nail lol. The strength & endurance is debatable

ive seen both live...gvozdyk punches harder than bivol...gvozdyk's temperament i felt hindered him from punching to his true potential at times...but we forget gvozdyk ended superman's career

what do you think about his footwork?
Certainly an arm puncher as opposed to a leg/kinetic chain puncher (that's his trademark though tbh.)

Footwork wise he seems fairly predictable, great at slips and weaves, but less inclined to pivot or hop. He is good at punching on the slip/step however.

I can easily see him getting hit flush from any decent opponent that can high guard and pivot into a new angle for the counter, but honestly his chin and guard seem that good that at this stage it is less of a concern. (The shots Ergashev threw in those first 4 rounds would stop 95% of his opponents.)

Matias has an exceptional right hook/rear hand hook that functions like a lead hook from the opposing stance. Not many people can throw them like that.

i have heard that matias has bad footwork. theres a willie pep interview floating around and they ask him about all those fights with sandy saddler. he grimaces and stares off like someone recalling an old painful memory and says saddler just kept "walking and walking". he said saddler just kept walking to him almost like saddler was still walking to him and always would be. how ironic is it that the fighter with the most intricate footwork was befuddled the most by the fighter with the most simple footwork.

I actually suffered from altitude sickness about 5 years ago hiking in the Andes mountains with my brother. Sh*t was rough and I was bad for about 2 days. Didn’t acclimate as we should have beforehand.

With that said, Bud is just way too fluid for robotic Spence and beats him every single time. Don’t care for the rematch at all.
