And people get mad at Floyd when he speaks for Tank lol Tank is a hot head and probably woulda been sayin some wild shyt like this after his fight with Cruz, but Floyd covered for him. don't even know why he's still with Bob Arum after how he did crawford.

Shakur needs someone to pull him to da side and tell him to chill. he won at da end of da day, he needs to play this off a lot better lol

lmao @ this being Arum’s fault somehow.

Is Floyd to blame for Tank’s domestic violence and hit and run cases too or is that only true when Arum is the promoter? :heh:

Not even remotely the same. Floyd speaks for Tank because the Baltimore school system failed him.

I've seen countless, but I'm not here to go back and forth about how many Atlas podcasts I've seen. :russ:

Cool, flip it however you want, the discussion was about Atlas baiting for clicks, if you want to suggest it's for some sort of retribution as to when they were younger and Teddy pulled a gun, cool, but it isn't. It's about Atlas scraping for attention any which way he can get. Hoe shyt.

Yeah you haven't watched his podcast lol. He RARELY mentions Tyson. Sounds like you watch the 15 min clips. I remember he did a Patrick Bet David podcast and Joe Rogan podcast where he mentioned it because he was asked. I think you should be more mad at Tyson for assaulting an underage girl than Teddy. It sounds like misplaced anger on your part

Lmao

I know a lot of nikkas who dropped out in the 9th grade that are intelligent as fukk, that shyt isn’t an excuse.

Tank def seems special ed

Yupp you would have to blame him on the people he hangs out with from high school till now. If all the people you hang out with are people who can't read, then what would be the end result of that? lol

The Mike shyt never bothered me. A few years ago Mike went to to him when he was still doing boxing for ESPN, told him "I hope you're still not mad at me". They shook hands and he told Mike he's proud that he's a better man or some shyt.

But regardless of how much or how little Atlas talks about it, people have to acknowledge that Mike did some foul shyt to someone he loves. You can't just expect a person to overlook that. And I love Mike. Mike, Holyfield, Bowe, and Lights Out are the reasons why I love boxing.

But like I mentioned earlier, his beef with Mike isn't the problem. Atlas is just too over the top. :heh:

Problem with him is he’s sensationalist by nature. Idk if that’s the right word but what I mean is that the guy almost never articulates his opinion in a moderate manner to at least keep up the illusion of being unbiased.

More often than not this guy has to be either fully behind something/somebody like a core fan or be on the other side yelling and hating.

I get that he’s an old-timer and that his shtick is entertaining to many ppl but imo it’s still not good when an analyst is so shamelessly stanning/hating instead of trying to view the topic with stepping back and taking an outsider view.

Like after any decision he doesn’t like he drags the sport through the mud and spews BS about the sport’s desperate state, etc., simultaneously forgetting about the good things going on. As an analyst he shouldn’t react from emition first.

This is pretty much spot on and sensationalist fits perfectly.

I didn't mind Atlas when he was on ESPN and his focus was boxing, but after he left, dude been on some scorched earth stance with boxing. Dude's hot takes are awful and all he does is shyt on the sport. Plus he shills for UFC now so its hard to take his boxing takes serious.

As bad as Stephen A is, I rather hear him speak on boxing because at least it comes from a genuine space that loves boxing. Atlas doesn't sound like a guy that loves boxing anymore and it shows. Which is sad because boxing gave that dude a career.

Yupp him being over the top with commentating is exactly the reason why I he's one of my favorite Boxing analysts

Teddy is a great storyteller, philosopher, with a vivid imagination with random analogies and metaphors to make a point. Dude is a like a rapper of Boxing analysis lol. He talks about Boxing like if the Boxers were army warriors going in the heat of battle leaving their families at home and they might not make it. Boxers are literal heros who risk their lives for our entertainment. Damn right I want someone to be poetic and give them the glory they deserve

If ya'll don't like this

i didn't say he was the blame,
i said he's not helping
He wasn't helping crawford either. And thats why a lot of ppl were so shocked when he beat da shyt out of Spence. They didnt realize how good he was...his own promoter was shyttin on him

Floyd would be speaking for Shakur right now i promise you that lol

Maybe... But what would Floyd say that could "protect" Shakur from the backlash of last week?

Bob shyt on Bud's ability to sell a fight. He never shyt in his skill. Hell in the lead up to the fight, he picked Bud.

Bud has a lot of SOG in him. No antics. No quotes. No "TBE" or "Strap Season" or "Man down".

He goes to the ring, beat people up, and goes home. That's his character and he refuses to compromise that to sell some tickets. SOG said the same thing.
